Phillip Hughes destroyed Dale Steyn, I don't think he'll have many problems against the English seam attack - Especially Broad. Hughes has an incredibly ugly technique but has an amazing ability to smoother late-swing and punish it for runs whilst those sort've delieveries would get most batsman out. That's what impresses me most about Phillip Hughes. Apart from his first-class class average. :p

Only a laspe in concentration against spin can get Phillip Hughes out.

He has two Test centuries and is currently giving a sub-par Surrey attack the run around, let's not praise him as the next Bradman.

But he's Australian manee. That immediately makes him the best thing ever. You know the rules.

Hughes made runs against Muttiah Muralitharan the last time Sri Lanka toured Australia in a warm-up match. I think Hughes was only 17 at the time aswell.

Paul Harris > Graeme Swann

You get better. Harris better than Swann? Goodness me.

Harris is better then Swann. Swann averaged 40 against India and has been bullying around weak West Indian batsman whilst Harris has been consistantly taking wickets against quality opposition.

Averages = nothing.

Swann hasn't had a go against quality attacks, whilst harris is just a journeyman.

Swann bowled very well against India, look beyond statistics when making such a bold statement. Harris is criminally underrated, but why bait members with such a controversial point of which there is little proof?

Swann's the leading wicket taker of 2009. It doesn't matter that about who he's played against, to be the leading wicket taker is a hallmark of a good bowler and not a poor one. It's also worth noting that the pitches he played on in the West Indies provided absolutely nothing for him.

Look beyhond the statistics? Swann has been dominating the West Indies... THE WEST INDIES! Whilst Harris has been taking wickets at a fair clip against Australia.

Is there any reason for the huge disrespect for West Indies? A side that has been on the up since December 2007? A side that has won a test in South Africa? A side that had Australia at 20-odd for 5? A side that beat England over 4 tests?

Bangladesh almost beat Australia in a Test Match aswell. The fact of the matter is that if you take England's statistics from against the West Indies over the last few years then their overall performances are very, very, very mediocre. They have batsman averaging in the 20's and bowlers averaging 40's. Take out Chanderpaul and they are virtually minnows.

Chris Gayle has been on fire lately, well over the last year. I also think your forgetting about Sarwan and Nash. And Fidel Edwards over the last six months has been very good.

Doesn't take away from the fact that England's statistics against New Zealand & West Indies alone are enough to call them one of the best teams in the world but if you take their statistics out from New Zealand & West Indies then they look like a very ordinary team.

Since 2006, we have been a very ordinary team, we can't dispute that.
