Thought Kent were going to bottle it today when we lost a few quick wickets. Parnell has been awesome so far this season, a real find, good with the bat and ball. Tredwell also has been superb, should be given more of a chance by England.

Surrey just don't seem to be able to cut it so far this season. Winning just one game so far I believe! And then the past two matches have been very close, they just dont seem to be able to get over the winning post, good to see Meaker getting some games now though!

YESSSSS :D Phil Hughes failed! Out for 12 to Wayne Parnell, probably the first genuinely good bowler he's faced in County cricket so far as well. Shah got a 2nd baller also, he is in shocking form. Poor Owais.

400+ for Somerset today. Scotland are rubbish. Big hundreds for Trescothick and Hildreth for Somerset. Very big hundred for Eoin Morgan on Sky today also, annoyed I missed it!

Watched the highlights of Morgan's innings a little while ago. Was awesome. I agree with Ian Ward that he's the best player of the reverse-sweep I've seen. Was a glorious innings, proving that he is one of the best young talents in England. He should have been caught twice, but thanks to Kent's shocking fielding he managed to keep going. Compton's innings was very good as well, one of his strokes off Azhar Mahmood was awesome, moved so far outside off-stump.

Morgan's stroke where he went for a reverse sweep but changed it at the last minute because it was outside leg stump was awesome.

Watched a good game at Hove yesterday. Joyce hit an excellent 127 from 125 balls, with Gatting impressing too. Kirtley showed his skills with the ball too, taking 6-50. A good win over a strong side. Was too windy though, but my Ruddle's County kept me warm. :spy

Good day for the potential England players of the future. Runs for Morgan, Bell, Malan, Davies, Moore, Horton and also a nice hundred for the young Leicestershire batsman James Taylor. Has a List A average of 62 now, he has only played 7 innings though to be fair. Certainly looks like one for the future! Some decent performances with the ball as well. 4fer for Dimi, Napier bowled well, Masters was exceptional once more, Sidebottom picked up 2fer, Fats Patel picked up a wicket but failed with the bat, 1-15 for Woakes and 2 for Rankin and a good performance from Panesar. Some really good performances from potential England players. Hughes failed with the bat in OD cricket again as well!

I didn't mean to. Just stating that Masters bowled exceptionally well once more, as I mentioned Napier before him, thought it would be unfair not to mention the achievements of Masters. I wouldn't want him in the England team, he bowls far too slow for International standards, but he's one hell of a County OD bowler. Been superb since he signed for Essex.

I'm not too sure, I think he could do a very valuable job for England in ODIs in England.

Masters certainly has made it into my "Players who have left Kent and have turned around and bitten us in the Arse XI"! Not quite an International bowler just yet. Really would prefer to see him playing in Div1 of the CCh first.

Yes on the subject of David Masters, I remember when he was having a great time at Leicester the year before he left and we had a pretty good attack, Phil laughed his head off when I told him Masters was better than Mahmood. Well I think we can safely agree I was right.

Anyway the second best OD batsmen in England hit a century today.

List A century number 9 of his career. 5 more than Ravi Bopara in just 12 more games. 2 more than Andrew Strauss who's had about 60 more games. 5 more than Ian Bell in 40 less games. 3 more than Collingwood in half the games. 4 more than Morgan (admittedly in a few more innings ;)), 4 less than KP but KP is a reak and has played 60 more games and 2 less than Shah in 100 less games.

Some more Trott facts for you there gentlemen.

Finally Hughes has a OD 100. Must say his OD game is coming along very nicely in England, his last knock he got 57 runs off only 43 balls.
