Who is your county team?

So James Harris has moved to Middlesex. I must say I'm surprised by that. I expected him to go to Notts or Surrey personally. Sad that he has to leave his home county to stand a chance with England though.

^never understood 40 overs cricket, why dock 10 overs from each side

I've been trying to find a county cricket pitch guide as to the tenancies of each ground. For example Adelaide (Flat) Perth (Hard) Sydney (Spin) Brisbane (Green) etc can anyone help me out?

Thank you Ste for your complete lack of help and terrific use of sarcasm

any time.

Not sure if there is a definitive list that is anything other than subjective anyway. a lot of grounds have had work done on them recently which will effect that anyway.

be best off researching the specific grounds on their own i guess.

yeh i think in england weather conditions play more of a part and the pitches have more variation within themselves.

if you mention the grounds here i could probably give a little bit of info on some, but it would likely not be worth much.

I was hoping for all of them haha so whatever you know

And we're back with a new season. :)

All Somerset opening bowling pair for the MCC as well, seems strange to see as a Somerset fan. Here's hoping for a dry-ish summer.

[/COLOR]Michael Vaughan recommends Root to open the innings in NZ. I think there is no need to do so when your current openers are doing very good.

Vaughan tips Root to open in New Zealand

Funnily enough, the TMS team have spent this series saying that Root isn't suited to open in Test Cricket due to his fallibility to good seam bowling on off-sttump.

@MUFC:

If it stays like this, there will be some seriously red hands in the opening games :p

Good to see Ireland's skipper performing in such a high quality game. He's gone a long time without a county ton.
