I don't know if you've been watching the world cup mate, but Ron-crete Vlaar would eat any front man in the Premier League for breakfast. Senderos is also an incredibly reliable centre-back which I'm sure @thedon5 will cosign. Those two over Bassong and Turner anyday.

Vlaar was awful against Australia.

I'm not sure I can. He is very bad, deservedly didn't start for Fulham.

Chelsea have actually been much better in the last 2 seasons with Mata and Luiz's fees helping the balance.

yeah, except 4 seasons pretty conveniently clips off the year man u sold ronaldo for ?80m which is where a bunch of the money they'll have spent in the following years has come from.

(also clips off about ?100m of transfers man city made that year while selling no one.)
