As usual, far too early to tell - let's wait until the transfer merry go round has come to an end.

Referring to the graphic above: that awkward moment when someone feels all happy with themselves because they've succeeded in having a dig at Man Utd, only for the basis for their dig to be blown out of the water; not to mention, Man Utd make a shedload of money every season. Ha ha.

He simply has to push on this season or he won't get close to the level he was at in 10/11. Will be hard as there doesn't seem to be a role for him in the team which fits him very well.

it's not really like many clubs are pocketing the extra money though, is it?

it's generally used to improve squads. so calling it greed doesn't really fit. The vast majority of clubs live barely within or slightly beyond their means.

The issues isn't the greed of the clubs, it's the environment which means clubs have to stretch themselves as thing as possible to attempt to survive/compete/improve.

liverpool playing an even higher line than last season vs roma today. crazy stuff. have stifled every roma opportunity and have taken care of every ball looped over the back line. and that's with COATES in the starting xi!!
