God Man City really dissing Micah Richards to play Clichy at right back today smh..

He's obviously leaving before the window closes, real shame Pellegrini doesn't like Richards, all those times Garcia played in defense last season in the PL, that could've been Richards, would've definitely got a PL winners medal then and Boyata playing, ahead of both Rekik and Richards, he's horrendous, but obviously with it being this late in pre-season Pellegrini was only going to play guys who are going to need this time, Richards is leaving like I said and Rekik is going on loan probably.

Ye its ridiculous, from a ENG perspective he needs to get away from their. Southampton might be a good club for him, its officially concerning how his career has stalled.

Early days also, but Chambers play in central defense was surprisingly quite well. Heard a few journalist hyping his versatility in recent weeks, seems like they were correct.

Chambers was even better in the Emirates Cup. Deserving partner of Koscielny heading into the new season.

Bit annoyed we didn't get rolled in the Community Shield though. And then after that Arteta was announced as captain, a disaster. Without a DM signing we will finish fourth at best.

In the past a poor result is what has caused Wenger to go out and spend. We needed that this time too.

Well, we need to buy and buy big if we're not to have another crappy season. The gap left by Vidic and Ferdinand is a yawning chasm that needs to be filled - and that's just one of our problems. As well as that, we need more pace and skill out wide and at least one world class midfielder. And Felliani has to go - I thought he'd be a good signing; I am man enough to admit when I was so, so wrong. All he does is flail his arms and elbows around and is a constant sending off risk.

Pre-season means nothing and also take into account United and Liverpool had the majority of their players available for pre-season.

As you say it was only Burnley, but we did look bloody good.

Costa looks like a monster right now, you just feel he is gonna score, and we haven't had that feeling for a long time with our strikers.

And Fabregas is just a class act and that pass for the second goal. Unbelievable.

I don't think so, I don't think you lot will be anywhere near the title, especially after being outplayed by Southampton at your place who have also lost most of their best players.

Losing Saurez has seen to that, the players brought in are not fit to lace his boots.
