Here are a few more details:

* There will be two divisions,each consisting of 5 teams.

* Each team in a division will face each of the other 4 teams twice (home and away).

* Thus,each team will play 8 games in the group stage which will be followed by Semi-finals, 3rd place play-off and a best of 5 final series.

* All the squads will consist of 10 local and 8 overseas players.

* Teams will be allowed to field a maximum of 4 overseas players in a match.

* No overseas player will be allowed to play more than 5 games in the group stage.

* The auction will take place in the social group and consists of 2 phases.

* Phase 1 consists of local while phase 2 consists of overseas player auctions.

* Each phase will have 3 separate threads for bidding for batsmen, allrounders and bowlers.
