Im having a HUGE error! I was just re-installing my c2k5 and i get this error!!!!

this hasn't happened to me before, and i don't want to stop playing this game!! Can anyone help me??

nope, i was just playing a min. ago before i decided my root was all cramped up and to reinstall it! :crying :crying :crying :crying :crying

I'm trying to reinstall it!! I'll try cleaning it but that doesn't seem to be the problem....i wasn't able to install BLIC because of this problem also! Please, help!

I dont think specs should be a problem as he used to play it before also. I am sure cd is having problems.

I'm sure i could get it fixed if it was a CD problem but i don't really think that's the case....

Has anyone had this experiance before? Do any experianced C2k5 players know anything about this?? Please, im really desperate for help!

This error IMO can only occur if the Disc is Scratched / File Is Corrupted.
Although it has nothing to do with PC Specs !

Another thing,if this is happening with all your cd's,perhaps the CD RW itself doesnt seem to be able to read the data in the CD,if that is the case you need to buy a new one.

The cyclic redundancy error has definately something to do with the CD, may be it has Scratched or developed bad sectors. Only one solution try installing it on some friends computer (Just to test) if still the error occur's then your CD has problem.

I just bought a CD repair kit. I hope it works...its telling me to put this liquid stuff and then spray, i hope i don't do anything wrong and mess it up.

CD cleaning Kits are perfectly safe, i've used them a few times. Good luck.

yes! thanks to you all, i have cricket 2005 installed on my computer again. Thank you thank you thankyou!!!! I would have never known it was a problem on my CD and not something else. Thanks again!!!!
