Well it did rain so I watched the match and we won 5-0. Crouch and Defoe scored twice and Gerrard once.

Czech Republic 2 - 1 Wales

We were so unlucky. We could havewon if Bellamy had taken his chances, but that late winner for Czech Rep was so cruel. Mind you, a good performance bodes well for the campaign. I doubt we will qualify, but if play like that and take our chance, you never know.

Yeah they won but I think Malouda and Saha both scored and then there was an own goal.

Germany also win 1-0 against Ireland in an entertaining match. Ireland were really good in the first half an hour or so but then Germany got control of the game with many chances, striking the bar twice and then Podolski scored of a deflected freekick.

He meant more about putting 11 men behind the ball at all times. Hargreaves hit the inside of the post twice and their keeper made some good saves. Could've been 9-0 on another night.

I watched the France match...Very poor match...a few nice finishes,some good touches from Henry...But overrall,very poor game.I saw that finish by Gerrard...WOW!What a goal...Man that guy pounds in some rippers!

Surprisingly only his 10th England goal in 49 games. I think he'll get more from the Wing though as he can come in and attack more.

It worried me that Frank couldn't even do anything that helped us score/create many chances vs Andorra.
