FA Cup

Lowest attendance for a while. wasn't it? What were the ticket prices?

Went to the Town game, the game as a spectacle ended when Halsey made the descision. Anyone who has seen it can tell a yellow card will have sufficed. Shocker. Credit to the boys though, they kept attacking Pompey (without BellMan in their contingent) and if Calamity James wasn't having a good day we could've won 3-1 easily. Quite how Utaka missed I don't know!

A quid for U16s and they still couldn't fill the stadium.

They said on the radio on the way there was 18,000 expected in the ground but in the end there were more than 19,000 which is still a decent attendance considering it was only Bury. The Jarrold stand (the biggest) had a few gaps in it and the corners weren't filled in, but it was a good crowd.

These red cards the refs are dishing out are beyond a joke now [see Lafferty's for Burnley]. It's an absolute disgrace that the refs are just ruining games with these diabolical decisions.

well i thought it was a rash challenge and 50% of the refs would have given a red for it...i don't think it changed much anyways i mean Arsenal scored but i think they would have won anyways...red card or not...

Wow, ours were ?5 for U16 and i thought that was pretty cheap! I reckoned there were about 25000 in the ground, fullest I'd seen it for ages and I was surprised it was only 23500 there. Sure there were more there than the WBA game...

I imagine if we had been playing Portsmouth the ground would have been full. We were playing Bury though, a team struggling to stay in the football league, so it is quite understandable that 5,000 people didn't turn up.

My ticket was ?1, it's often 'Kids for a Quid' at Carrow Road in the Carling and FA Cups.

For the Cup games season ticket holders get moved around as well, which doesn't help, my friend has a season ticket and he was behind the dug out on Saturday. He's not normally there.

It's the upper Barclay for me! :D

Fair enough... Town wouldn't have gotten 19,000 if it was Bury, fair play.

Unfortunately that means nothing to me... Behind a goal?

I'm Lower Greene King (behind the goal closest to the away fans)

The Barclay is behind a goal, yes, the one right at the back of the ground.

The Barclay end is the Norwich version of the Kop, the Sretford End, etc.

Maybe you should add Blackburn 1-4 Coventry to your sig, Rob!

Yeah, I was gonna say that and get rid of the result which is on there.:p

Yeah, it's old, but still true :p
:p I dont like the myth and dont think its true, other people wouldn't when they see the amount of fans we have in this area. Having said that, I get annoyed when a dad and his son sit in front of us at OT from time to time, there's no way they have any connection with Manchester and they're annoying too, like sitting on the top of the chair which means their arse is basically in your face.

To say I dont like arsenal is putting it lightly, but I disagree here. Far too many horrendous and potentially career-ending tackles have been ignored recently and someone is going to have their career ended by one sooner or later, someone like Ronny for example who is constantly getting fouled dangerously with no protection from the refs.

Norwich have been knocked out to lowly Bury in the replay. I don't like their fans, they take the micky out of the opposition more than they do support their team. I hope they are annihilated by Southampton in the fourth round.
