Features you want to see in next iteration of Big Ant Cricket

I'd go the other way and look to replace the aggressive double trigger shot with something else. I can honestly say I've never bothered with it and I enjoy the way well timed shots and not so we'll timed give plenty of variation.

Sorry if my list is a bit messy or if it includes things that already been posted

-Your career still starts at 16 and it starts off by you playing 3 trial games for your first grade club team in front of selectors. You can input the club teams manually into the academy or just use random ones
-Depending on your performances across those three games, you will get chosen to do 1 of 3 paths:another season of first grade cricket(worst), go to the academy(middle) or go straight to domestic cricket(best)
-Academy involves net sessions and games and the better you perform, the faster you get to domestic cricket(would like it to involve something else but cannot for the life of me figure out what). The better you peform the closer you are to a first class debut
-Team lists are dynamic, which also includes the chance you may be selected for one dayers ahead of fc matches if the team wants a fast scorer, or vice versa. Also, you can be dropped back to grade cricket if you underperform or injure yourself if you play too much
-A currency similar to rll3, where you can receive contracts worth money. The contracts also include information on what it is offering you, such as guarenteed fc spot and a reserve spot for od
-Just as an idea, instead of buying match boosts, you can buy customisations or something similar. So, you can change the colour of your bat, gloves etc. or change their style.
-A page that shows your popularity. It is broken down into sub-categories such as performance, media, fans and similar things and it shows your popularity/rating for those categories as well as a general rating. By improving your rating, you can attract sponsors for equipment, contracts from other clubs, captaincy and similar things.
-A calendar that can let you skip to certain places
-The ability to retire from a certain type of match(e.g.20/20)
-Post match media conferences after a specific milestone(first match, first century, man of the match etc.)
-A BaP view from the dugouts in 20/20s so you can watch your team from the sidelines, get interviewed, talk to team mates and other similar things
-Pre match team huddles
-Be able to talk to the commentators while batting or fielding
-End of over conversations
Thanks for reading!

Seeing matches currently, digital adboards would make for good addition to the game..Hopefully an option to enter advertisement companies on the boards as well in the stadium creator..

sounds awful, since it is saying a well timed normal shot doesn't go for four, when it should.

That's a fair call. That is how cricket works after all. It just gets a bit old when your career player has something like 15 50s and a similar amount of hundreds with a strike rate of 150 - 200 because the ball seems to go for 4 very easily. I have never used the aggressive ground stroke because of it.

I have tried on pro level and up.

One thing I've noticed since I've moved onto pro from amateur is that I get plenty of 2s and 3s but a lot less fours. I definitely think the number of 3s should be looked at. The other day I had run 5 3s in the first2 overs. It's not that uncommon to run 4 either. Maybe the batsman running speed needs slowing slightly. While on the subject of runs here's other things I'd like.

Achievement for all run 4.
Achievement for triple century.
Achievement for triple century partnership.

As suggested above regarding abilities you can reduce running speed also.

One word of advise

Tone the Batsman abilities down

*advice

....and since you can do that manually within the game, why not just edit it according to what you see appropriately toned down?

This is my idea for fielder throw meter

Concept is good, but the game needs LESS HUD vomit and more nuanced integrated game feedback. They need to make vastly better use of the scorecard scroll-bar and/or link it to the player models on the screen so it's less "here's a bar/meter on screen" and more "here's some inoffensive easy-to-understand graphic that tails/superimposes/sits around the player model.

I've been toying up with photoshopping up some ideas around this, but I think they're reasonably aware of the limitations around what they came up with first time and I'll wait to see what they've come up and put red circles around it.

My favorite is and always will be career mode as most opportunities to make a cricket game interesting is in it adn what I found missing is this sense of achievement and lack of consequences.

- Start from Junior grade cricket.
- Bad performances in Junior grade cricket will result in dropping and number of compulsory net sessions needed to get selected again.
- Good Performances in such matches can get you selected for a domestic side.
- Selection should be based on playing style specially for a batsman...A slow paced batsman should be picked for FC cricket rather than T20s.
- Continue bad performance should have some consequence.
- Changing in batting order/specific targets/ Specific goals to be achieved/ Multiple challenges during the match that you can select gives you extra point to improve your abilities. for e.g. If in a FC game your team need to bat out to save the game a challenge will pop up saying (Bat 20-25 overs or bat till tea and then further difficult challenges can pop up which you can accept and gain extra skill points these can be shown as messages from Captain/Dressing room..Depending on player being batsman or bowler)
- Golden Patch or Bad Patch would be awesome..Series of good performances could result in your player getting extra skill points that results in a golden patch..It can last for few matches or until you mess up, throw your wicket away, bowl extras/bowl poor line...Of course for this to work a clear difference should be between high skilled and low skilled batsman/bowler..Bigger timing window/more swing/bat speed etc.

Yeah I'd definitely like to see the career mode start at a lower level and would love to see some more picturesque smaller grounds added to play on. Maybe Big Ant could hold a competition for people to create the club teams they play for, via the academy and the winnings ones selected to be included as the league teams. This could be a great way to market the game.

dear @MattW, in next edition plz do add TEAM statistics as well i.e. real, earned, combined similar to Player Statistics in current version. Main reason is to make ranking system in cricket games and based on those team stats (Success% in beginning), ranking system can be introduced in future.
It would be great to add team stats, thanx
