according to PSM,they claimed all versions are same this year.I really hope so:)

Wait - PSM said that all versions are the same? Was this in the printed Magazine, or on the website? I think things are more concrete when they actually make it into print.
 
Looks the same as FIFA 10 and FIFA 11. They could make 10,000 improvements to the game, but in the end only a few will be that helpful and noticeable.

I'm thinking more of the graphical side here - the consoles aren't upgraded, so how can the games look that much better? Maybe adding more going on at pitchside - but wouldn't that make the game struggle on consoles?

Sounds damn good on paper... ummm... screen? We'll see, eh?
 
Yeah I didn't mean graphics at all. Graphics are nice, but in the end, I'd rather have FIFA 06 PS2 graphics with a nice amount of improvements to gameplay rather than FIFA 12 graphics with the same gameplay as previous games pretty much,

Yep. Still, that's very early code they're playing. We'll see, eh? All I can say is I love Fifa 11 PC - so anything like that with the major issues sorted out, like the bugs in MM and the defensive line that's too high and loses its shape too easily, as well as the dodgy keeper handling will make me very happy.

Edit: PES 2008 was the last PES I really enjoyed. :p I remember the World Cup patch for that, it was nothing short of superb.

Sodding lucky gits, I wish I was a playtester. Yeah I know it isn't all just playing games - you have to actively look for bugs and so on but still - what a job!!

Maybe it's different being a PC gamer - after having years of recycled garbage, Fifa 11 PC was a breath of fresh air - and Fifa 12 sounds even better; maybe after a few years of having the proper game - the same as the consoles - we'll become more demanding. ;)
 
Other sports games such as NBA 2K, MLB The Show and PES manage to achieve much deeper, realistic gameplay than FIFA using the same hardware.

That's no excuse for how inept EA are at making football sims.

Compare it with their lame ass effort at Cricket sim and you would feel FIFA is best thing since the sliced bread. :p
