FOOTBALL Fifa 13 PC and Consoles

FIFA is far better for excitement and game modes available (Ultimate Team), but I still reckon PES is more realistic. Still, I won't be buying PES, pretty much 99% sure, but I am 100% buying FIFA. Though I will enjoy the PES demo as a change of pace from FIFA and FUT.

@Steve: Not sure who would say PES is better. I've only ever heard people say PES is more realistic, never better.

Yeah graphics,Faces and injuries are realistic but the gameplay of Fifa is always better then Pes and will be .

I reckon the gameplay is a bit more realistic too. Just seems harder to pick up and play as a lot of the features such as passing and dribbling require skill to really master. In FIFA you can play a passing game like Barca without having ever played the game before.

PES is widely accepted as being the more arcadey of the two now, with FIFA the more simulation based. So really got no idea what you're talking about

I barely played PES 2012 though and loved the passing system in PES 2011. That alone felt more realistic, FIFA passing is too ping pong.

You'd be surprised. Even at EA forums, there are a few staunch fanboys - who will jump on you if you dare say anything negative about PES - musn't do that on a Fifa Forum, must we?

Anyway, the PC demo should be out by now, so I'll give it a try, as I want a new football game and after reading about Fifa 13, I don't want to play Fifa 12 anymore!

I play Pes on my pc and Fifa 12 on my ps3 . Well let me tell you guys a little about Pes that there is no dribbling skills like we do in fifa 12 . But the good thing dor the Pes players is that we can by a lot of things like different physique and Faces are looking more real than Fifa 12 and we can by old team players without spenting our own money but with the gp pionts .

Those are just bad angles.

The FIFA ones have looked like neanderthals for years. You can see Kaka's face close up sometimes when you open a pack in UT. Honestly that likeness is just embarrassing. Wilshere too on a pack, embarrassing.

Always makes me laugh when people say the passing on FIFA is too ping pong... You do realise you could try turning it off automatic and onto either semi or manual? Try playing tika-taka football then

I'm not THAT bothered by it. I still play and love FIFA.

No settings like that exist on UT anyway.

Pretty sure they do... just go into controller settings and turn everything off automatic and play a completely different football game. I always have long pass on manual and if I'm in the mood through ball as well.

Yeah they do, but you can't be competitive in an online match with such settings unfortunately.

I usually do have crossing, long passing and through balls on semi though. Helps me play better more than anything.

You don't, since through balls can only be put on manual or auto

Well I made it to div 4 using manual on everything but short passes but then I just got bored as everyone started playing the same tactics with similar teams and finding a lower star team for a game took too long.

Full manual is the only way to go for me. That's one of the many reasons I don't play online - too many kids using assisted controls. I just prefer CM, and that's not going to change this year judging by what I'm hearing about it!

Yeah even if you have to turn the cpu difficulty down to find the right balance, the more manual you make FIFA the better it gets. They kind of ballsed up legendary difficulty on this anyway, in that they don't play good football and beat you, they just play really boring dribble from left to right for 10 mins football
