FOOTBALL Fifa 13 PC and Consoles

I just find that when trying to say pull off a roulette with someone like Ronaldo, instead some crazy flip flap will come off from time to time. Almost as though there are too many skills in a short space of right stick movement :p

You aren't doing it right then, the roulette starts at 180 degrees and goes for 180 degrees, the elastico starts at 90 degrees and goes to 270 degrees:p. Who cares anyway, the elastico looks brilliant to pull off.

I feel there are too few skills haha.

I've done master in skills I mean in fifa .:p

I know how to pull them off, but when running at speed and not in over the shoulder messing around mode, the skills are direction context, so can end up being fiddly when someone like Ronaldo or your BAP player have so many skills. More often than not I do the skill I want, but I certainly find the 3 star players the easiest to skin people with using skills, whilst the likes of Messi and Ronaldo barely need more than a bit of L2+R2 dribbling and a combination of L1 and normal dribbling to beat players.

With guys like Ronaldo and Messi you don't even need to dribble. Just outpace them, easy as. They can outpace anyone in the game easily.

The direction context is only really bad while trying to do the McGeady spin with 5* skillers. You often do the heel to heel which is just terrible.

Functionally though, 3* is the best, agreed.

Yes I agree , same happens with me , when I try to do something but something else happen . Ronaldo can do a better header than a volley but with Messi and Neymar , volley is the best option . If we press and hold L2 and R1 then he starts dribble while standing while L2 is the main button for dribbling but in legendary difficulty , passing and keeping possession is more better than a great player like Ronaldo trying to dribble two defenders but in case of legendary difficulty its just a waste of possession but yeah if he dribbles and success is with him then its 5 star skill .

Btw one very easy skill is just pretend you're doing a fake shot but hold L2... Does a Ronaldo chop in whatever direction the left stick is facing. It's a 4* skill obviously. Same strategy but hold the left stick in the direction opposite direction the player is running and he'll do a rabona fake if he's a 5* skiller, excellent skill and you can score some spectacular goals with it.

Literally do the Ronaldo chop at least 2-3 times in each attack. Buys time and can beat people.

But this would be very hard for the 3 star dribblers to dribble a great defender or and other , 4 star and 5 star I agree while we can use Rooney and Neymar as they are 4 star dribblesrs altough Zlatan Ibrahimovic is but it would be waste of ball if we go and try to dribble a keeper one on one . From me 4 star and 5 star agreed .:thumbs

Yeah you're right I agree with that but look a Messi feint kick and a Ronaldo Feint kick which is better ? Obviously who has more skill stars .

I'm sorry but none of what you just said made sense to me.

I just said that a player who has more skills is better or a player who isn't much skillful to dribble ? No problem if you did'nt understand .:p

Looking forward to career mode as you can play for a country and hopefully they have some good hair styles :p

My favorite skill, not really skill, but it's the Slalom Dribble or the Skill Dribble, you do it by holding R2 and L2 and moving the right analog stick at whatever direction you please. I find it very effective because when you let go off L2 the player stops doing the skill dribble and will go to maximum sprint speed at whatever direction you please, which means the defender you beat won't be able to catch up.

Here's a video, the guy explains it a lot better. :p

I remember using that one a lot in the FIFA 10 Demo (also because it was the only trick I could do back then:p). Never used it since. I found it useless against the AI and fairly useless against human opponents. It's supposedly much better now for FIFA 13.

Oh and I never found the bolded part ever happened, you always exited it at walking speed.
