FOOTBALL Fifa 13 PC and Consoles

He's played UT before;).

Bundesliga is way better than in FIFA 12, lots of 4* skillers now. Serie A is good as usual. I haven't used much BPL but it's largely unimpressive from what I've seen.

Silvers are brilliant as well.

Thinking about getting my feet wet with UT(finally, I know :p). I've like got quite a bit of coins from packs and what not, any suggestions in terms of teams to build?

Serie A is the best place for me. You'll easily be able to build a good squad without spending too much.

Bundesliga or Serie A eh, time to get on FUThead and figure something out. :yes

Started my career mode with Man Utd today.

Out
A. Young - $27,300,000 (Arsenal)

In
F. Marchetti (GK) - $17,500,000 (Fortunately made the deal successful just before David De Gea got injured for 6 weeks)

Won 2-1 against Everton (scoring second goal in 88') and 4-1 against Fulham in the first two league matches.

I simulated both matches though. I am still new to Fifa series (first game after Fifa 09) and getting used to it. It's my first ever career mode in Fifa. So apologizes if I made some errors with transfer.

I have been playing PES 2013 in the past months only for it's BaL mode. Found it too easy with my created player scoring 95 goals in 101 matches even on Top Class difficulty and currently signed with AC Milan. Won all other trophies with my previous club, PEC Zwolle.

Haven't touched Virtual Pro yet but what do you make of it comparing with PES BaL mode? Camera angle in Fifa Be a pro is horrible though.

While it's more immersive to play BaP/BaL in Pro cam mode, I find it makes it very hard to time headers, and to see the play around you. I prefer to play such modes using the same cam. I use for Career mode. :)

But it ruins all the fun of Pro Mode. I really like it now in Fifa because they included the rapid breathing while sprinting in Be a Pro. It's nice little inclusion and adds overall feel to control your player.

I think the camera is very well done in PES BaL. We can see our player and nearby all the time no matter how far we are standing from ball unlike Fifa.

So, how does Career Mode work if you start as a player; do you get to continue into management if you wish at the end of your 'playing' career?

----------

The only PES I played was 2010, the time FIFA ruined the PC version.

Mate, Fifa PC was ruined for a good six years - Fifa 10 was the last one of that goddamn cycle. Fifa 11 provided a game for the PC to be proud of, and Fifa 12 finally provided full parity with the console versions. My concern is that said parity could go out of the window again when the 'NG' consoles come out.

Nah most development is done on the PC, and with the next gen consoles likely to be relatively underpowered compared to a high spec PC I'm pretty sure it'll still be the definitive version. By which I of course mean the non-existent loading times and ability to actually play it at full HD resolutions.

Crashes have ruined my Career Mode. This is one of the most buggiest and broken FIFAs I've played in a while, at least the 360 version in my personal experience.

I hope you're right - one question: didn't the PS3/Xbox 360 come out at a similar spec to a high end (six years ago) PC?

I started a new career as a manager of FC Barcelona , won the Super Cup De Espana and looking forward to win the Liga BBVA . Well , it was a lot of trading this season :

In :

Karim Benzema (35K)
Phillip Lahm (28K)
Gareth Bale (60K)

I don't remember all of them , I'll see and update .
