I'm not defending this innings, just defending the abuse of McCullum as a player, who has played a match winning innings in the tournament. Forget the numbers, he made 48, but it was a match winning 48 in a game that NZ had to win. Again, if that isn't performing when needed then I don't know what is. Sure he failed here, and he does seem to fail far too regularly for a player with his talent, but I don't think he deserves as much abuse as you're giving him; because, as I've stated, he did step up and play a match winning knock against England.
