The reasons for the increase in finance are :

25/05/2007 Sold Apoorva Ahmed for £27000.
25/05/2007 Played a match and received £146525 in gate receipts.

The gate reciepts are the same as before, which is good!

should I update my stadium. Are the gate reciepts the main source of Income? My stadium capacity is 6500 now

Wait a few games to make sure you are getting your stadium sold out every game. No point in upgrading paying the extra maintenance when you aren't even fulling the original 6500 capacity.

And yes it is the main source of income.

Not too long, if you look at my transfers you see ive been helped by selling off a lot of my bit part players for around 1mil, and it always helps when you get ?800k for your first YP

(Note this is posted after the financial update - my game was last week, essentially). Looking a bit better, no chance of going into the red now. Got 22,285 into my newly upgraded 24 (and a bit) thousand seater stadium, got me 170k in gate reciepts so a fairly successful season should see nearly 200k every other week.

Can I ask what sort of expenditures other clubs have? Mine are as follows:

My sponsor money effectively balances salaries, so I pay out ground maintainance and just about nothing else on weeks without home games.
