I got really lucky picking up a 3000 series when I built mine before Christmas 2020. So, far I've used it to play games that ran perfectly well on my 1080.

It's very easy to get caught up in the hype or fomo. I need to play something like RDR2 or Cyperpunk to really see how it goes.

Yeah, I did try RDR2 on my 1080 but didn't play more than a half hour for some reason and it still looked good.
