Flintoff expected to miss World Twenty20

Flintoff was prime meat for butchering in T20s as the IPL showed. And better, I want him in tests and particularly Ashes in prime form and fitness, and that's where he belongs to.

Has a replacement been named? Or are they waiting to make sure he is definitely ruled out?

I think he will play in world cup twenty as he is in squad but he want to also be fit for ashes which is really pride for england and australia so i think he will play as less as he can

Rumoured to be Tim Bresnan that replaces him, if he is in-fact replaced, which is looking very likely.

He was sufferring from injury from WI tour,he played few matches for CSK in IPL,then the injury became more serious,now thats a big blow for Eng,hopefully he is available for Eng for Ashes 09.
