Matt announced as Australias new manager

The successful Liverpool FC manager Mattfb has today been announced as Australias new manager, after disapointing preformances from Pim Verbeek and Australia trailing in 33th spot. The board came out today announcing they want to climb the ranking as they feel the have the team and young up and coming players to do so. "With players
like Mark Schwarzer, Harry Kewell, Tim Cahill, Craig Moore, John Aloisi, Mark Viduka and so on we certainly have the quality."

"I can tell you straight up I will be making quite a few changes before our first game against Argentina in just over 2 months. I will be watching the A-League closely for players that I think have what it takes to make it to the top team" mattfb stated. When asked which players he was looking at he said he would rather not comment.

Good luck Matt. KUTGW

I have a question: How do you become The aussie manager in FM 08?

Its football manager. When selecting a team I go to nations then pick Australia.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Pre season cup
Sydney FC vs Central Coast Mariners

Australias new manager mattfb has been spotted at Bluetounge, Centeral Coast Stadium on saturday night closely watching the game. It is believed he was closey watching the progress of the mariners forward John Aloisi.

"It was a good game, except it was extremely disapointing to see John Aloisi get injured early in the match. I really hope we gets fit quick and can get some match practice in." Mattfb stated after the game. When asked if there were any other players he was watching he told the reporters he was watching Tony Popvich. Reporters were bemused and asked if he knew Popvich had retired from international football when Matt simply replied "yes".

"I was impressed with the performance of Mile Jedinak, Central Coast Mariners central midfielder. He played very well in there 1-0 win and controlled the midfield all game. We will be watching him closesly for the next few weeks"
