Can anyone give me tips in how to judge quickly whether to go on front foot or back foot? And at which exact moment during the bowler's delivery we have to select a certain foot? I also know that the green cursor is mostly a full delivery and the red one is mostly a short delivery.. But as a certain color cursor appear then i dont get that much time to play on a certain foot and mostly get out... This foot placement confusion has not allowed my average to go up above 10 in every format in the career mode even after more than 10 games... :(

I also have the same problem. What you have to do is premeditate. Against a really quick bowler camp on the backfoot. Even from there, you can drive the ball straight when it is full. Against a medium pacer and spinner, stay on front foot and play drives or pull/cuts as per length of the ball.
Hope it helps.

Good advice I think, but sometimes you will get bowled by a Yorker from quickies

Yes that will happen occasionally but if you drive straight down the ground, chances of missing the full ball are minimal. You just have to watch for that yellowish colored ball and drive straight down if you are camped on the back.

anyone have problems with missing the ball completely because your front foot movement moved your whole body OUT of the line of the ball? maybe just me :(

You should move the LS straight to make sure you don't sway too much left or right. The idea behind LS movement is to get your feet in line with the ball. If you want to drive a ball that is on sixth stump, you must move your LS at 45 angle upwards to get inline of the ball if you have a leg stump guard.

That happens when you accidentally press up & left or up & right on left stick instead of just up. On higher difficulties this will be even more pronounced, and in fact most of the wkts you will lose will be due to this reason, i.e. your footwork will need to be spot on.
