Well started my reign as Wolves rather well. Beat Mansfield 3-0 in FA Cup 3rd round. Won my first Championship game against bottom side Carlisle 2-0, and then beat Stoke 3-0. Just been very unfortunate to lose in the FA Cup 4th round against Sheff Utd. Outplayed them all over, just the single goal from the first chance of the game seperated us.

Things are looking good.
 
Just had a very gutsy away win at QPR. We were pretty poor at the back, but we came out 3-1 winners. Was looking like we were either going to draw or lose with 10 mins left and it at 1-1, but Kightly snatched a double to give us three points.

My attack is probably one of the best in the league, and I have no idea why they were down in 20th when I took charge:

Young Jones down the left is brilliant. Scored 3 free kicks in first 3 games since I took charge.
 
Freddy Eastwood. :D

Southend are my second favourite club behind Chelsea so Freddy is an awesome player in my eyes. Keogh is a very good striker as well and with Elliot on the bench, you have a great strikeforce. I know Charlie Mulgrew from somewhere. Did he used to play in Australia or play for Southend? Swear I know him.
 
He is the only 'Mulgrew' on the game ;)

Well for the sake of the club and player I've had to let Michael Kightly go. An offer of £3.5mil is just too big to reject, and with it being Portsmouth, I think he would have wanted to go.

It's the last day of transfer market, and Villa are not letting Delfouneso go, not even for £4.5mil! Going to have to find a back-up option if my final offer is not accepted.
 
I'd go for someone else, Jack. No point wasting valuable time. A shame to see Kightly go but it seems it had to be done. Didn't think he was good enough to be at a team like Portsmouth but seems they think that. Hopefully you can find a good back up option. :)

Damn! Transfer window passed and I didn't get anyone. Looks like I'll need to find a good player on a free or bring in someone on-loan.

Man that really pisses me off! We have just hammered Fulham all over the place, and yet the two chances they have in the second half they score. I cannot believe we haven't beaten them 5-2 or something. Unbelievable!

Ok, this is getting more than annoying now. We just battered Southampton, and only come away with a draw. They had only 2 shots on goal, none of them from open play. One of them was a penalty which they scored. I wish Kightly was still here :(
 
Won Croatian Cup with Pomorac, we finished the season 11th in the relegation play off place having won 1-0 on the final day to leap off of 12th. Beat promotion play-off team from D2, 6-2 on agg.

Got some defensive signings to do. But both budgets have double :happy
 
Just had, by far, my best result as manager of Wolves. A 2-0 away win against 5th placed Birmingham City. Very good game, both sides had chances, but finally we were able to put them away. Keogh has suddenly found some good form and has now scored 3 in the last 2. To keep a clean sheet as well, away from home, is brilliant. My keeper was just superb.

Seems that loss meant the end for Steve Bruce :p
 
We finished our FM07 clan tonight, I won SD3 with Ayr \o/ Start the FM09 clan on 4th Jan, just to upgrade my PC...
 
I resigned from Villa after my disasterous start to the season and took a break for a year. Just taken the Man City job after Hughes crap spending finally made them drop to a lowly 16th.
I think I'm going to raid my old club for Veloso and Rossi and get rid of the crap deadwood that Man City have bought.
 
They bought O'shea, Robert Huth and Robery Earnshaw for a combined £50 million :eek:
