Oh dear, that is an awful spend of money!

Shame to see you resign from Villa as well. My resignation did me wonders, I'm at Wolves where I'm 10 games unbeaten and have gone from 20th to 11th

Right well I got this for christmas (2009) but am no facing some compatibility issues. Everything runs okay untill I get to the first matchday and then the game crashes. I checked on the back of the packaging and says with vista i need a 2.0 ghz processor but mine is only 1.8ghz. Is there anyway I can actually play the game without it crashing?

You could
a) play in window mode
b) In preferences turn it down to 2d.

These are wild guesses btw.

Sorry been engrossed in the game ...It's working in windowed mode now which is good aswell cos it means I can do other things and still play the game,

I went onto the sports interactive forum and they said try the windowed version aswell so they set me up on how to play it in windowed mode, so is all good.

Your one, i then went into the game to try and turn windowed mode off but it was greyed out, so went over to sports intercative turns out others were having the same problem as me so the answers were already there ready and waiting

I already baught the game from ebay and im waiting for the game to arive. I'm really confused about the 3d just how good is it? Is there a sound patch available as I heard that they STILL haven't improved the sound.: Fernie's sound patch worked wonders for me on 07 and 08.

Just to clear up its 'bought' not baught'

I think the game is harder than older versions and you have to really work at pleasing the fans. This game is in a lot more depth aswel. You see how far your players run! You also get to select things you want to see on match day like player ratings, assistant feedback and player morale.

I think its a very good game and I feel that the 3d actually adds a lot to the game even if it isnt great quality but its very good for a years work!

Yeah I have to say the sound is very goood..Belts out 80's dance tunes and new songs with pure sound quality....Oh oops sorry thats my set of speakers. Umm... I don't really tend to listen to the sounds as I prefer some tuunesss like parklife by blur

Personally i'd rather listen to football manager sound than blur.

Did they get you to alter the .exe to something like fm.exe-windowed?

Created a shortcut onto the desktop and then added a windowed bit to the path and hey presto!

I never have the sound on in fm 08. It's just cheering isn't it?
