Just finished downloading it now. I'd be gutted if it didn't work on my PC. I can't play FM06 for much longer!

Had a quick blast after I downloaded it last night. Runs very smoothly (Apart from matches, but I'm not that bothered about the jerkyness) and very quickly but they may be because I downloaded the Vanilla version. I like the new interface, the tabs are good and I like the rumours page style layout.

Started off with Liverpool, a team I haven't played with since CM4! Apparently they have been seriously bodged up by SI. The transfer money is ridiculous, you only get ?2mil to spend for title challenge, and the players stats are not good enough. Will see how it goes, that's what people have said on sortitoutsi.net, but I'll have to wait and see myself if it is true.

Looks good though. Will definitely excite those who did not buy 09.

FM09 has bugged up on my computer, every time I re-install it something strange happens every now and again and it goes incredibly laggy.

I reinstall it and it works fine for a few hours, then suddenly something triggers and everything gets really laggy.

Lately on the reinstalls the working time is getting shorter and shorter - I had about 20 minutes of gameplay on my last one before it went lag mode.

Last time I reinstalled it was lagging from the start.

Wonder which is quicker download Steam or torrent?

For me, its always Steam. 1.5MB per second, you can't go wrong. For me torrents the maximum speed I ever reached was around 1.1MB per second. But torrent speeds vary. So go with Steam.

Beh tried both. Torrent took the lead for the first 15 minutes at 160 kbps but steam kinda hadn't started but then cruised along at 700 kbps leaving Torrent in the dust.

Just started playing it. I love the layout and there are some great new features!

I'm going to download the FM10 demo now. Anyway, in FM09, I'm doing a save with my own country (just renamed Cook Islands to my team) so I had no World Ranking Points to start with and I'm in November 2015 and I've gone from 207th to 127th but I was in 118th the WR update before that but I lost 9 places after drawing Fiji at home. I'm getting closer to being able to qualify for the WC (top 4 ranked Oceanian teams are given the chance to qualify). In the Oceanian Nations Cup, in 2010, I lost all 4 games and finished last in Preliminary Group B. In the 2012 OCE Nations Cup, I won 2 games, drew 1 and lost 1 but finished second going into the second round and drew 2 games and lost 2 to finish equal points with 3rd and 4th (PNG and American Samoa) but PNG had beat me on goal difference and I was equal with ASA. In the 2014 cup, I finished last with only 1 draw to my name.

Peter Birch is probably the best Hedge Islands player I've had so far. 19 years old, 30 caps, 7 goals. Awesome penalty taker as well.

I hope FM10 doesn't have the same ridiculous problems as 09, I'm so gutted that I'm not able to play anymore because of my game crashing and lagging.

I'm in 113th in the rankings now in December 2016. Over my career, I have won 18 games, drawn 30 and lost 39 which is alright for a new team. Last match I played was a 0-0 draw against Azerbaijin.

Right kitted out my game with a new 09/10 db, LS 10 kits (took ages to get in game) and a logo megapack which I added new logos to. Now to get it started and to kick ass with Man Utd
