I never played with Barcelona.
Anyway, update on my Real Madrid save:
Won the Spanish Cup after defeating Barcelona in the finals. Lost the league to Barcelona. Cristiano Ronaldo won the World Footballer of the Year 2010 award. The prime reason was an audacious chip goal he scored against Cesar Sanchez. Had Barca in semis of Champions League. Lost in the 1st leg 2-0 at Camp Nou. However, came back with an amazing 4-0 win in the 2nd leg at Santiago Bernabeu. Champions League finals V/S Manchester United. Won it by 3-1. Reached the hall of fame for French Managers and was ranked 7th there. Sold Lassana Diarra and Gonzalo Higuain. Signed Joan Capdevila, Joris Mathijsen, Miguel Medina, Ivan Ratikic. Got Donovan on loan from FC Bayern. Also let Antonio Adan on loan to Liverpool. Got Will Keane on loan from Man United. Signed some Russian midfielder who I don't know. Then made a big capture with Gianluigi Buffon at 57M$. Then bought Schweinsteiger from Bayern. Won the Super Spanish Cup vs Barcelona and then won the UEFA Super Cup V/S Tottenham in the penalties. Buffon defended 3 shots and won me the Super Cup.
Proved I'm a good manager.

Want to sell a few players from Madrid. Thinking of Benzema, could fetch a good price and is in very poor form. However I'm a little short of strikers so selling Benzema can make me weak there. Donovan, Dzeko, Rossi, Ronaldo will be left. So I think I'll do it.

Starting 8th season in Belgium with some mates in an online game. Such stupid rules, but hilarious figures floating about. My players got ?700 between them as a bonus for last season, that's about 25 players.

Shame my laptop doesn't have the specs to run this game, however i am hoping to get an ipod touch when i go to US on holiday next month, take advantage of the exchange rates etc. Apparently the game is quite good on that too.

Started a new one with Chelsea, bought 4 players.
Phil Jones of Blackburn
Phil Neville of Everton
Edin Dzeko of Wolfsburg
Alexis Sanchez of Udinese
Jones and Alexis are huge hits, although Jones now is having a tough time. Struggling after Terry's injury. Might be available for the next match.
Didn't play Neville much as I got him mainly as a backup. But however, after Cole's injury I had to play him because Ferriera was terrible and Zhirkov was having problems in blending.
Dzeko sucks TBH, utter rubbish, has been terrible every time I play him.
Trying to sell Anelka, and due to Lampard's stupid form I'm selling him.
Medina is due to get transferred to my team, and bought two Indian players to strengthen my reserves squad.
I can't sell Dzeko until next season.

So you definately don't know how to play him? It doesn't take much but he is one of the best strikers in the game if played right. And he always scores goals for me. 30M pounds was a bargain for what he plays like. I reckon he's worth 40 at least.
Sanchez, again you need to know how to play him. He's best suited to play as an inside forward because of his pace and dribbling as he isn't the best finisher.
But Jones and Neville were pretty poor signings to be honest. And why would you sell Lampard just cause he's out of form. As I can see, you really aren't the best manager.
And wow P Squared, getting Bale for 22M pounds, what a bargain.

jones isn't a terrible signing. I'm england manager ina bout my 5th/6th season and he's in my squad.

My assistant manager pulls it back to 2-2 and then i go an win 1-0 in the bernabeau

On FM08 playing as Chelsea my 3rd season with them, have got Sergio Aguero for 41m pounds , Luiz for 21m pounds and Balotelli got injured for 2months so I went onto get Giuseppe Rossi for 27m pounds in January 2010 Transfer market

Decided to start a Tottenham save and destroyed Stoke in my first game, winning 5-0, Pavyluchenko scoring 2 goals with a goal from Crouch as well and Huddlestone scored a screamer off the bench. The other goal was an own goal. Looks like Pavyluchenko and Crouch will be my main 2 strikers this season. Just playing a normal 4-4-2 formation for the time being seeing how that goes. My lineup:

Say how to play Dzeko in a Chelsea squad, and yes I regret the decision to put Lampard on the transfer list. I'm going to retain him.
I play Sanchez as a right winger and he does play well but your idea could work out wonders with him maybe. Jones has been excellent getting once the BPL youth player of the month but after Terry's injury he could not handle pressure and became very poor.
Neville was bought only for a back-up incase of injuries. I now have Ashley Cole injured and Ferreira is terrible at a left-back position and Zhirkov has blending problems. So I'm playing Neville over there.
