Is that pounds or dollars? Cause getting Dzeko for $40M is a very good bargain. Normally it takes a 30M pound bid to get him.

What would be the fun in telling you how to play certain players. Although go over to the SI forums and find the Edin Dzeko player thread and people will probably have told how they have played him.

Well Jones isn't really a poor signing but he's more one to look to for the future. Give him the occassional game and regular games off the bench for a couple of seasons until he's good enough for the starting XI.

Well another big win over Bolton, winning 4-1. Gallas had an eventful 90 minutes, with 2 goals, a yellow card, set up the own goal which was Bolton's only goal and a missed penalty while he was on his hattrick. Ledley King scored a header at the near post and Defoe scored late in the game, coming off the bench so we won 4-1.

████. I won 3-0 against Kiev to qualify for the CL but got the worst group pretty much possible. Barcelona, Lyon and Rubin.

Well had 4 matches since the match against Kyiv.

Defeated Blackpool 3-0 thanks to goals to van der Vaart, Lennon and Bale

Defeated Fulham 1-0 thanks to a goal from substitute, Giovani dos Santos

Lost to Barcelona 1-0 in the CL, probably should have drawn that game, we had a few really good chances but wasted them

Drew Liverpool 1-1, a game we really should have won but Defoe wasted so many good chances. Bale scored early on before Kuyt equalised for them later in the first half.

Pavyluchenko's injury is really hurting us and dos Santos is injured as well so I have no in form strikers at the moment. Only Bale, Pavyluchenko and Gallas have scored 2 league goals this season.

We play Ipswich in the league cup next followed by 2 away games at Man City and Lyon in the CL. Very tough period for us. The back end of September has/will be:

v Barcelona (H)
v Liverpool (H)
v Ipswich (A)
v Man City (A)
v Lyon (A)

Won the EPL for the 2nd time and Champions League for the 3rd time in a row

New season, sold off Lampard for 8m pounds to Man Utd as he is 33..and bought Raul Garcia from At. Madrid for 26m pounds. Also thinking of selling Terry and buying Micah Richards. Young squad ftw! Oh and just signed a 3 years deal with Chelsea..still had a year left on the current Contract

We nearly lost to Ipswich

It went down to penalties and we missed our first 2 penalties from Keane and Modric. It took 8 penalties from both sides before we finally won 4-3. Keane, Modric, Jenas and Hutton missed for us and Crouch, Huddlestone, Lennon and Gallas scored.

Went onto bought some more players. Sold Terry for 24m pounds to Liverpool and bought Micah Richards for 33m pounds. Then sold Bertrand for 3m and got Traore for 6.5m. Then on the last day of TM, bought 20yo Wonderkid, Gabriel Torje for 13m pounds. Here is my current line up-

Lost to Fiorentia 4-1 in the champions league round of 16 in the away leg. Rooney scored 34 goals this season till January but now its Feb and his tally is just 38. Guess thats why I'm losing nowadays, need another quality striker.

I was dominated then nicked a late one. Hulk was out suspended, which was a good job as he had scored 20 goals in the CL that season (over twice as many as higuain in second place) and without him despite all the possession and territory they looked toothless.

have to conced the league now. I got to within 2 points with 4 games to play, but then lost away to struggling parma. who did what I did to porto.

Hopefully win the copa italia or champions league though
