lol, we end the season spectacularly. An 8-0 win away to Osasuna on the final matchday before smashing Arsenal 4-0 in the Champions League final thanks to a MOTM performance from Lionel Messi who scored one and set up two while Xavi set up two goals and Sanchez played a blinder as well.

Goals column has huge numbers but still surprised to see Villa outplaying Messi for that top scorer spot with 14 goals diff but overall Messi outclasses with Assists. Must do with your tactic though. But an awesome run for a single season.

David Villa just seemed to score a heap of goals in cup matches as you can see Messi was still the top scorer in the league. Sanchez scored a fair few goals in cup matches as well, scored one less than Villa in the Champions League, I think.

Pretty boring week as almost 2 days were solid transfer windows, we managed to get a few games.

Loving the new team talk options. Played Greece (away) last night, was 3-1 down at half time (not sure how). Gave the lads a piece of my mind and won the game 5-3! De Rossi is now even more of a hero than ever bagging a cheeky 4 goals. But the last game of the night we played a struggling Spain.

Just started up a new season on FM12 with Newcastle (as always :D) Got Sturridge on loan and he puts 7 away in pre-season's and then gets sent off in the first match of the seasons vs Arsenal :facepalm Still managed to salvage a draw but I have an injury list so long I have basically got to have my reserves as subs and just hope I don't need to do any substitutions :(

In the Cup match versus Crystal Palace, Santon, R.Taylor, Ameobi, Best and Lovenkrands all had to come off with injuries, luckily managed to edge the match on penalities, but jeez!

Came from behind to beat United 4-1 at Old Trafford and the fans are just pleased. Beat a European minnow in NK Dinamo away 3-0 and the fans are jubilant! Hilarious! :facepalm

Well I find this so stupid. Because we have to install steam now, it has taken me an hour to install the game (well actually, it hasn't installed yet, still another 10 minutes probably), plus I have to install the editor separately which is going so tweaking slowly and really, there's nothing to gain from it. I prefer to download the patches from the internet itself cause it's 50 times faster than steam and I don't really play any other games on my computer so it's not like I won't be like not having to use the disk is going to do anything. So really, this wasn't worth it.

Anyway, I'll go watch the Sydney match and hopefully it will be ready to play by the half-time break. Still unsure who I'm going to be, I think I'll play with Blackpool and try to regain promotion again although I'm annoyed because Goodwillie signed with Bolton so he won't sign for anybody until at least January. Anyway, thinking of waiting until one of the guys on the SI forums pretty much makes every country playable then load up all of the leagues and use the add/remove nations feature to go around the world.

Finally, I managed to put 4 past Arsenal. All that is left is Man City!

The game was a sweet revenge for two reasons. (1)I lost 2-1 to them in the final two seasons ago. (2)I lost out 4-2 on penalties to them in this season's Champions League quarter final. They got to the final but lost 2-1 to Madrid after being screwed by the linesman for disallowing a goal that was nowhere near to be offside. :lol Perhaps a third reason could be added after the debacle that happened at the Bridge this past weekend.

This happened a couple of days ago and really, it's hilarious! :facepalm

How on Earth did you win that 4-0???

They played you off the park. Their keeper must have had a mare, whilst yours must have had a blinder.

They only had 2 shots on target so keeper didn't really have that much to do.

How's everyone finding FM2012? Still haven't got round to buying it yet. I've heard there are some game-ruining bugs in it. Something about keeper positioning?

5 blocked shots suggest it was backs to the wall counter-attacking performance. You only had 6 shots and scored with 4 of them. You had no possession, were less successful at tackling and lost the aerial battle! Your passing percentage was dire as well.

Is your Chelsea team based on Joe Kinnear's Wimbledon ;)

Judging from the highlights, Cech made one save but not sure how the other one happened. :lol

I've read many people complaining about the problem with the steam and them encountering those crash dumps error and stuff like that.

I didn't even set my team out to play on the counter. Just so happened that 2 of those goals(Hazard and Rossi) came when we broke up their play while the Clichy own goal came from a corner. The Ramires one was basically the result of a passing move.

As for those stats that you mentioned, I couldn't care much about it anyway TBH since it's the final scoreline that matters most. However, I did get a little bit annoyed when I saw how aggressive Arsenal with their challenges. I mean that is so not like them IRL! :p
