Liverpool and Barcelona? I do realise you asked for three but I can't think of anyone else

lol I don't really remember 'Pool beating Chelsea at the Bridge in a Champions League encounter.

Barcelona (2006-07), Besiktas (2003-04) and no idea regarding the first team.

Lazio beat Chelsea in the 99-2000 season when Vialli was boss I remember. Sinisa Mihajlovic scored a cracking FK in that game. Lazio were so strong at the time.

Since nobody is asking the questions, guess I shall ask the next one too. :p

In which year of the World Cup that one of the two teams became the first not to score in a final? Who was that team and the opposition they faced?

:spy

I started following soccer only from 2002. So anything before that is 'old' to me.

My bad, didn't read your previous post properly.

Here's my question btw:

"Liverpool's most recent defeats at Anfield in the Champions League, name FIVE of them." Relatively tough, given its been a while since they last played in the Champions League. :p

2010 world cup spain vs holland

----------

1994 world cup brazil vs argentina

Incorrect. Perhaps I should rephrase the question a little bit.

Which was the first World Cup final in which one of the teams did not score a goal? Who was that team and the opposition they faced?

Lyon, Fiorentina and Chelsea. Need time to think over the other two. :p

Barcelona, when they went through on away goals. And Benfica, maybe?

I remember Sim?o and Miccoli scoring a couple of crackers but I'm not sure if there was a more recent defeat than that.

All but for Benfica are right. Benfica's win at Anfield was the sixth most recent home defeat for Liverpool in the Champions League.

Fiorentina - Lyon - Chelsea - ................. - Barcelona - Benfica

Is it Galatasaray?

And no takers on this?

1990 Germany 1-0 Argentina
1998 France 3-0 Brazil
2002 Brazil 2-0 Germany

THESE WERE THE WORLD CUP IN WHICH ONE TEAM FAILED TO SCORE

The question was actually asking for the FIRST World Cup final in which one of the teams failed to score.

Nonetheless, you got it right with the 1990 World Cup there. It was actually still West Germany back then though. And I assume you went and search for the answer?
