after 90 mins man u have killed arsenal....luckily only in the play.we have played terribly,really badly.i'm a bit ashamed.Man U deserves to win,but i hope they don't.signing off-2:00AM.

Arsenal won the FA Cup on penalties 5-4 with Patrick Vieira scoring the winner. Paul Scholes missed.

No doubt!!But thanks to our bril goalkeeper Lehman,we won!I was so nervous for the last parts of the game, they almost won it on many occasion, but luck seemed to go our way.F.A. CUP-ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

even though manu out classed arsenal

arsenal deserved to win the penalities becuase, penalties is a whole different game and arsenal scored 5 excllent ones

Man. United did indeed out play Arsenal for most of the match, but Arsenal took total control of the Penalty Shoot-Out. United looked shaky and nervous and took their penalties without much certainty. Scholes' kick was at a good height and not placed in the corner enough for Lehmann to make the save, and he did just that. Roy Carroll had no chance to save any of the Gunner's Penalties, as they were first class and confident kicks. Congratulations Arsenal, better luck next time for Man. United.

apart from Scholes' miss, Lehmann had no chance with any of Man U's penalties

Unfortunately I only got to see the first 10 minutes of the game :(

But from what I heard,Rio Ferdinand had a goal disallowed,Rooney hit the post, and Man Utd dominated.

The reason Arsenal were so poor is because they were outplayed in midfield. What was Wenger thinking when he played Fabregas instead of Ljungberg?

And why did Fletcher play ahead of Ryan Giggs?

fletcher had a very good game, i dont think giggs would of done anything extra for man utd if he started

True, but they didn't take their chances and they paid the ultimate price- not getting any silverware in 04-05.

An exciting day today in the SPL! Rangers winning the league after Celtic concede two goals in the last few minutes of their match, come on the gers!

I'm not sure this would have made a major difference. Ronaldo and Rooney were terrorising Lauren and Cole and they were the major reasons United were so good.

Fletcher played because United played a 4-3-3. They needed central midfielders who could tackle so Fletcher was put in. It was more a case of there being no place for Giggs as Ronaldo had taken it and rightly so. I think Fergie got his tactics spot on, it was just one of them games were nothing goes in for you.

It looked like they were going to bring Howard on when they knew it was going to penalties. I'm not saying it would have made a difference, but Howard's penalty saving record is very good and Roy Caroll only got near one penalty.

I can't believe Rangers won the league. Celtic conceding two in the final 3 minites, who would have thought it!
