News on Ipswich Town front:
Neil Alexander, recently called up to the Scotland squad, is in talks with Rangers in a deal taking him back to Scotland for a reported £500,000. This news surprised me and everyone else at school today, but apparently his family is unhappy being so far away from Scotland.
Alan Quinn signed from Sheffield United last week for £400,000 and he impressed me last night, should be a good acquisition.
Another player coming in for us is Velice Sumulikoski, a Macedonian international midfielder from Bursaspor in Turkey. We signed him for £500,000 and he played against England twice in the Euro Qualifiers recently.
Jaime Peters has moved on loan to Yeovil until the end of the season, should be good for the lad getting some game time.
Also, David Norris looks set to sign for £2.25m from Plymouth, according to reports in the South-West. The longest transfer saga in the Championship, Bolton receive 50% of the fee.
