Another young carrer will be watsed by Real Madrid :facepalm Ozil took the worst decission in his life :doh

I reckon the decision spells more doom for Canales than Ozil. Ozil is obviously more established and will get more playing time, along with Kaka. And, wanting to work with Mourinho is an opportunity most players wish they can have, so it's not that surprising that Ozil agreed to move to Real. Still, would've liked him to move anywhere other than Real.

Well Ozil say's he is childhood Barca fan then how could he go to Madrid. This move has ended his dream of playing for Barca.

I would have liked Felipe to move anywhere other than Atletico.

:eek:Too Many Middies In Real. Real Confusion!!!:doh

^ But Rodwell extended his contract at Goodison for 4 more years right ??

Yeah he extended at the start of July and its almost 2 months since. He hasnt played much in the league just 1 appearance in the Carling Cup. United are trying for a 10m + Carrick deal.

I would be happy if the deal happens.

First off, that deal sounds like utter bollocks. And secondly, I can't believe some Utd fans. When a player has a dip in form for the first time in their career at the club, suddenly he's a load of ████ and should be sold.

Yeah you are right Rodwell cannot match carrick at any cost . I think its everton who should pay 10 mil + rodwell if they want carrick , not the other way round.
Carrick is an amazing player but fergie now seems to follow rafa benitez's footsteps with his rotation policy that proved to be disasterous for players like Andriy Voronin .

I've never really rated Carrick highly and I've yet to actually see this Rodwell guy play. But I guess basically United are bidding the equivalent of 18million for him?

Fergie hasn't played the same 11 in over a 100 games. Rotation is a good thing. It keeps players fresh and they last the full length of the season.

It's only a rumour at the moment and I highly doubt it's true anyway. Rodwell is a very talented player though. I see him as a box-to-box sort of midfielder, but he's capable of play centre back as well.

Van Der Vaart might have signed for Tottenham. The deadline is officially over but they may have got it through in time.
