Well i suppose he is a great coach,but it's not like there hasn't been other good coaches in charge.I think it must have something to do with the surroundings and the player group.

You need a good coach who puts team in front of everything, including his own salary. Not that Luxemburgo, Ramon, Camacho, etc. were bad, but they werent able to keep so many superstats under control.
Few managers have this ability. Chelsea's JM being one of them. Portugal's Brazilian coach Scolari is great at that job. And obviously Fabio Capello.

Can't quite see Fabregas, Robben or Kaka joining Madrid, Capello looks set to raid Juventus once they get dropped from Serie A. Patrick Vieira at Madrid would be cool

As good as PV is, I dont think Capello would want to go for old players, if he wishes to make a fresh start at Real Madrid. Kaka, Robben and Fabregas have age on their side.
