Tweets on my timeline from Bundesliga experts/pundits. :p

Anyway screw it, wikipedia's probably just messing around. Just had him listed as a Chelsea player, then Swansea (!) and now Bremen again.

Haha, would be a decent signing for Chelsea, but I think the day I use wikipedia for breaking news stories is the same day I start using the Daily Mail for political commentary :p

BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea confirm signing of Werder Bremen playmaker Marin - Goal.com

Believe it now:p?

Good piece of business IMO. When we were linked to him, I wasn't too keen on him considering the other fish in the pond, and the same can be said for Chelsea, but with Kalou most likely leaving and Sturridge's unwillingness to play on the wing, it'll be a good signing for Chelsea. Still a gamble though as he is far from proven. A cheap gamble though, and still could end up a decent squad player if he dosen't fully live up to expectations.

Hehe yeah now I do :)

He's much... much... much better than Saloman "I'm literally the same player I was 10 years ago" Kalou. Well, probably as effective to be fair, but could easily be more useful in a team with more talent. Kalou is just so average for someone who was basically this good at 16 :p

Yeah not a fan of Saloman. Marin is obviously better, but you can see why he was signed. Marin himself has been stagnating in Bremen though.

Marin looked good in his younger years but hasn't really fulfilled that early potential. If he can add consistency to his game, he could turn out to be a good player.

It's PODOLSKI TIME!!!!!

Finally, a good attacking signing, hopefully this signals the departure of Chamakh/Park. Tbh Chamakh is probably more useful than Park as Wenger actually uses him.

Both should go and Wenger should use Theo at ST as third choice. Theo wouldn't be a very good striker, but undoubtedly better than Chamakh and Park. Maybe Chamakh can gain back some confidence in the off-season.

Though I really wished we got Matias Suarez as well, or another attacking signing as Park and Chamakh just don't cut it at all.

Now, all we need is M'Vila, and possibly Hazard, Suarez or Vertonghen and we'll be fine.

I'm expecting Wenger to sign a few kids as well though, like Thomas Eisfeld and Tarum Dawkins from the last window.

Hazard looking likely to go to Man City...

Gotta say that'd be a terrible step for his career. He will struggle to get playing time IMO and he'll take a while to reach his full potential. Perhaps City would be better later in his career. Same with Utd, with Nani, Valencia and the diver flourishing, though he could start immediately in the middle without transitioning from the wing. He'd get much less playing time than at Spurs or Arsenal.

In the past I felt we didn't want him, as I saw him early in the season and nothing woed me about it, plus he has been whoring himself out too much for too long, so he'd just leave to somewhere like Bayern or Madrid after a bit, but even if Arsenal is just a stepping stone, I'd love to see him here. He is high enough quality that if he keeps improving we can make a nice profit if he wants to leave, maybe to sign Gotze.

City will obviously get him though.

Can't wait for the Next season :p

Finally a worthy striker to partner with RVP but Podolski to Arsenal was written all over the place since the pre-season. But now Vertonghen in the defence and possibly M'Vila as the holding mid, and the return of Wilshere (:D) and Arsenal can run fluid football, and Wenger is certain to start Miyachi and Chamberlain more often, and that adds the fire power in the attack.

Wenger was right he doesn't need a complete re-haul, just some quality signings and we know why. The team was already there, now their superiority will be cemented with a couple more signings.

Play him where? There's no room in Mancini's 4-2-3-1. Nasri? Silva? They're struggling to give Milner, Johnson and De jong a breathe. Almost like they've been doing it as a formality. Excluding milner the Latter are set to go. Sadly both have had a bittersweet story, Johnson was roaring when he started and same with De jong, now they don't even get to see the better of the subs bench.

United or even Chelsea could prove successful to him, Spurs are trying to lure him but that's desperation at best. Arsenal is a great place but Walcott and Chamberlain are getting better every game so it's unlikely he will go there.

Podolski Already moved to Arsenal.
Yan M Villa is also linked to Arsene Wenger.
I so darn want goetze or hazard to come to arsenal.
Pogba is too doubtful of his future in Manchester.
Adam Johnson and Llorente are linked with Liverpool.

Pogba has already signed for Juve. Check on it.

Bit sad top youth players in the likes of Pogba and Morrison leave for the not so good reasons. I guess that's what business in football is these days with the rise of agents. Couple of decades ago once you're in a club, you're there until the end.

Another great talent to go.

Even sadder when big clubs refuse to give them any game time because there's too much at stake the whole time.
