Football Transfers Thread

This guy is the best young talent City have right now.Amazing record for him so far,hes just warming the bench in City.

Schurrle is overrated. Apparently it's De Bruyne and 15 m. 15 m on its own would be a lot, or De Bruyne, both is just too much. I don't see place for him really, Marin must be on his way.

---------------Striker---------------
-----Hazard----Mata----Schurrle-----

Actually that would work better than Oscar in the middle, Schurrle has some serious pace and Mata is better in the middle.

Regarding transfers, Sky Sports' transfer clockwatch gives you a nice picture on all the latest rumors from various newspapers, and once a transfer is official, sky sports and bbc will have it updated on their respective homepages.

Cavani would fit great in the PL & City. But I don't see them buying him any time soon. They have Agureo,Tevez,Dzeko.Their current state is going well,I'd sell nobody in the strike force.Might sell Sinclair,Rodwell.

It's very much a possibility actually(if Napoli don't be total ----- about it), Tevez will be on his last year after this season(he's refused to sign an extension remember) and Dzeko is just Dzeko, which also means he might be sold. :p

Mancini would probably want all 3 of them at City next season with Cavani or Falcao being Balotelli's replacement(remember, we never signed a replacement in January), but yeah, not gonna happen Bobby Manc.

And that brings me to Guidetti... guy needs to be promoted, ASAP, or he'll just leave like every other guy who's good enough for senior level footy.

You're wrong actually, he hardly ever makes our bench.

Epic's a huge fan of him.

Schurrle 'agrees terms with Chelsea' - ESPN FC

Nice work from Chelsea.:rolleyes

Believe it when I see it. Unless it's Schurrle pushing for a move himself, Bayer won't sell, they're just that kind of club, they can choose who they want to sell and who not to sell.

Now, that 15m + De Bruyne deal sounds very much on, because I've heard more "hype" around De Bruyne than I have Schurrle. Lots of hype doesn't always equal lots of talent, but to me a person who's never watched either of them play, it's something to go on.

Reserves if I am right?Right? :p

Falcao being Balotelli's replacement(remember, we never signed a replacement in January),

Isn't Falcao going to Man U ? But I'd really love Cavani in the blue jersey he's a natural artist in front of the goal, better than Rooney when in prime form.He should get a hair cut too when he arrives ....... :p

Just in,don't know if I should trust this but....

Manchester City And Chelsea Target Edinson Cavani Hints At Summer Move

Very odd transfer, he's pretty much a poor man's Reus and I'd be surprised if he turns out to be more than a squad player.

More chance of me playing professional footie than Casillas signing for Arsenal.

Yep. Think he returned to action sometime in late January/early February after a horrendous knee injury that put him out of action for something like 9 months, hopefully he'll play some of our final few games, especially given the season is basically done for us.

Saw that, without looking at that report I could tell you that he's going to go(ofc, I could be terribly wrong), it's just that time of his career to make the big move, whether it'll be City, Chelsea, Real or Juventus is all but up to him.

I don't know how much better he can get though, IMO he's already one of the best strikers in the world, if not the best.
