Could you post a link to that article, I'd really like to see that (and hopefully see Chelsea NOT get their man for once ;)).

I think you mean Roberto Carlos extended his contract. Unless something really big happened that I don't know about...

Carlos one was a typo indeed.;)

We can very well see "who" has sense now.

Chelsea have made a $49 million bid for Fernando Torres. RA has even offered El Nino the number 9 jersey, which is currently worn by Hernan Crespo.

I also read that Roberto Carlos has ended his contract at Real Madrid.
Thanks to you listing all those players,we CAN see! :D
I really hope Torres stay7s,as He'd most probably spend a good deal of time on the bench.

Capello has stated that his #1 target at the moment is Diarra and not Kaka. He has spoken with Madrid's sporting director to make the transfer with Lyon possible. His plan is to create a strong defensive midfield with Emerson and Diarra to take some pressure off of the defense.

Apparently Lucas Neill's rejected an offer to re-sign with Blackburn, so it looks like this'll be his last season there; an assertive move, in my opinion, and a fairly good one at that, as he's now a candidate on the higher-tier of the European market.

Yeah, I read that one too...hopefully he doesn't! Craig Moore's modest contributions are misrepresenting Australia (;)), and he's leaving at the end of the coming season anyway, so Newcastle should through their name in for a direct national swap :)

They did fairly poorly last time round, but'll be back up there this season......as for Moore, he barely played in the better part of the 05/06 draw, and his contract expires at the end of the coming season; I believe the plan is to return home and play in the A-League, which is good I guess.

Crespo has gone to Inter. Now Cheatski has just Dogbra and Shevchenko with Kalou as a back up. So I can imagine Nosy Mourinho in a hunt for a striker. So who next to get a ride on Roman Abramobitch's yacht and getting into a blue shorts?

Well he's definitely better suited to Italian Football.Anybody who even thinks of going to Chelseas loses my respect for life...Cash grabbing *******s~!

Well, hypothetically, if you're, for example, an accountant, who moves from one company to another in pursuit of higher pay, would you be in the wrong? Football is their livelihood, I'm not a fan of the club and get pretty annoyed when they constantly buy all these stars because the money's there, but you can't really blame the players, an extra few million is all they're looking for....I struggle see how footballers are payed so much, by the way, it's ridiculous.

Yes,but this is football which is a sport and has much more passion in it than accounting,so loyalty is needed greatly, especially in todays football arena...

Madrid officials are on their way to Lyon to negotiate the transfer of Diarra. It is said to be in the 25-30 million euro range.
