*Coughs* 14 games 0 goals,3 offside goals.You mad bro?

Most top strikers peak in their early 30s. With his quality there's a good run of seasons ahead of him. He's had a barren run with arsenal last season too. He makes up for it, just in time.

The thing about RvP being injury prone is a bit of the past now. He's kept himself well at United and last season at Arsenal. As he said most of his injuries were more unfortunate than to do with being physically unfit.

That reminds me of our ex-lazy man Berba. I wonder if United had him now they'd have snapped up the title earlier. He still pulls off those moves at Fulham and he's 31.

Eriksen will actually be on his last year next season and IIRC, he's refused to sign an extension as well, meaning he'll most likely be sold this summer.

I don't think Lewandowski will leave either, but they need to get it sorted this summer because that last year starts when the next season does, and the longer they wait, the more ground Lewandowski will hold in the negotiations.

Baines, yes. Lewandowski, maybe. Falcao, no.

Yes to Baines because he's an Everton player(:p), maybe to Lewandowski because Gotze has just been sold off, but he's affordable, and a no to Falcao because he's got a ?46m release clause that I don't think United would be willing to meet.

To hell with strikers. Not sure if Macheda will stay, welbeck's only had a dry season with goals but we've got Will Keane on the brink of promotion. A blow to United's midfield ramp up plans because Wanyama is just about delaying his possible departure for another season. No scholes, No fletcher next season could play on the balance but United can always splash the cash now to find their replacements (hopefully)

Lewandowski to Bayern is also done. That deal's been around a while now. Tremendous 4 goals today. Dortmund must be chewing their skins out right now. Feel for them.

I beyond just "feel for them", clubs are basically using their prestige and money to simply price away all of Dortmund's top young talent, and in a rather naive manner, they're falling for it.

Dortmund are a business, they know what they are doing. They charge very little in the way of tickets and make the majority of their money from big transfer deals. They will have a huge profit margin on the Lewandowski transfer as they do with most. They'll also have great players ready to step up once Gotze and Lewandowski are gone. They lost one of their best players in Kagawa and yet they are still on their way to a Champions League final.

They aren't na?ve, they have a great structure and should be a major force in European football for years to come.

I was referring to their young talents being naive, the likes of Gotze, Kagawa and Sahin... not the club, they obviously know what they're doing, because every season since they won the Bundesliga title in 2011, they've been set back by a big name leaving(Sahin in 2011, Kagawa in 2012 and Gotze in 2013) and every time, they've replaced them with almost better players(Gundogan in 2011 and Reus in 2012).

That said, you saw that Persie can't recover from injuries quickly(Compared to his fellow teammate Rooney),also we aren't talking big time ones.He might have been out for 2 games, then he doesn't score for 14 games on the dot,it really worries me.

Vincent Kompany: I'll stay and fight for Manchester City - ESPN FC

Suck on that Barca.

Oppa Vincent Style!:p.On a serious note I don't know why someone would leave City when they won the last PL & he was the captain.Possible next season champions,so a good decision by him.

Barca are hardly good with their transfers, I would be surprised if they buy Kompany in truth.:p

And I wonder whether they need Hummels, he's similar to Pique and two slow center-backs with two wing-backs always moving forward is defensive suicide.

It worked for 4 years. :p

I personally can't see Dortmund selling Hummels this summer, they've just lost Gotze to Bayern, and Lewandowski is almost certain to leave... that's 3 big names that they're facing on the out, and I know Klopp is good, but even for him that's too much rebuilding.

But Barca really need a new CB,they have Pique & Puyol.Puyol is injured half the time,so expect Barca to sign a CB in this window.

Hell yeah they need a CB, but this time, they can't just ride through whoever from wherever, expect them to sign one of Dede or Ogbonna (or both even).

Anyone else notice this strategy followed by Bayern - leeched Ballack, Ze Roberto and Lucio when Leverkusen were their arch rivals; Frings, Klose and Borowski when Bremen were; Mario Gomez when Stuttgart won the BuLi; and Gotze and probably Lewandowski now that Dortmund are their arch rivals.

Oh and they also leeched Dortmund's manager, Ottomar Hitzfeld, back in 97, when BVB won the Champions League.

Vile, despicable club. :rolleyes

Lyon employed that strategy for eight years running before their domestic dominance came to a halt. Hate them with a passion too.

Can live with two or more clubs from the same league feeding on these talents - atleast that gives us some kind of entertainment as to who's rightfully the king of the den among these two/three (as in England).

This one in Germany is just wrong and sad though.
