Sounds like Rooney wants to leave, but we've said he can't. Well, we all know how that usually ends. Best let him go if he really wants to leave so we can get some money for him now, rather than nothing when his contract runs out. Sounds like he's not happy being dropped back into midfield, but I truly believe that's where his future lies. He just hasn't got that burst of pace he had back in Euro 2004, and his ability to beat a player has gone with it but his passing and vision have improved massively.
And in other news, David Gill has apparently met with Real Madrid to work out a return for Ronaldo.
Looks like Old Trafford is definitely the place to watch right now.

Chelsea's Adidas aren't they? I don't see how that leads you to believe he's going to Chelsea. Last thing I heard was that he wanted to go to Bayern Munich; I can't see him going to any other English club.

I'm concerned about Wazza's future from an English perspective mainly. If it is he leaves United for real this time, i don't think he would work or be suited to another big English club to be frank. Sadly i guess he too much of a polarizing figure in this country.
His best option is to leave Englad. The Bayern rumors don't make sense since lets be frank he is not on a Bayern level. PSG can obviously pay his wages, but i don't like the club for him.
I'm a big fan of him going to Juventus although i know its unrealistic. Juve need a big striker & i guess Rooney wants to be the big man up front too. Like "Gazza" before him, he could end up being a famous enlishman in Serie A.

Rooney going abroad could only help England. I think it would be good for him.

Having said all that, Rooney has said he could be persuaded to stay if Moyes (who is set to be announced as Utd manager) could assure him he's an integral part of his plans - presumably up front. If Hernandez goes to Real Madrid to secure Ronaldo's return, then that leaves RvP up front with Rooney just off him - which would make Rooney happy again. Still need a new midfield player though, especially if Giggs and Scholes both pack it in.
Apparently, Sir Alex himself 'handpicked' Moyes, so Utd have looked no further.

That would be fantastic - Felliani will solve our long standing holding midfielder problem, but he's also great going forwards and is a real aerial threat. Baines is a superb defender who crosses well; his freekick isn't too shabby either. Those two additions would massively strengthen our squad.
So potentially, we have Felliani, Baines and Ronaldo. That would be more than enough I think.
