Funny he scored 40+ goals the other season and now he's being linked to Fiorentina. Chances are that he'll only go to the club if Jovetic is sold. They tried to lure Berba last season to replace Jovetic, they failed but kept jovetic for another season.

Italy or England look like a possible destination, a lot of clubs in the PL can get his signature.

I remember Gomez saying he's a Madrid fan, so with Higuain out there's a remote possibility he might ever move to Madrid, just saying.

He should have better options, but he'll fit in nicely with Fiorentina if the move does materialise.

Amusing that no top club wants him as of yet.

The "top clubs" are keen, it's just they've got bigger targets in Cavani and Suarez, once one of them or both of them seals a move, you'll see more interest from the top clubs for Gomez.
