They may not be lying about their ages. In some of these countries in Africa, the records aren't kept as well as in other countries. Therefore they may not actually know when they were born. It's the same thing with Freddy Adu here in the US, he claims to be 17, but many people think he's much older.

It appears that Milan have given up on acquiring Ronaldo, as Madrid insisted he wasn't for sale for less than 30 million euros or Kaka.

Adu grew up in Ghana and moved to the States when he was about 8 iirc.

All this thing of people being older is a conspiracy which holds nothing.

Martins looks 21 to me, Adu looks 17 to me, Richards looks 17 to me.

Many people look older than they look. Many think I'm about 25 due to my size, but I'm only 18.

Sorry, yeah, I meant Lucas.......if he heads to Tottenham he's almost ensured a starting place, whereas with Liverpool it would be a slightly different story, but apparently he's been an avid fan of the latter all his life...
