Of course I watch Chelsea, I have seen more poor displays than I can count yet each time luck falls on their side and they get the points. Since when is getting to the knock-out stages of the Champions League difficult when Schalke, Basel and Steaua are the teams in your group?

Shall we look at net spend? Chelsea's success has been down to money alone and not any great manager. Anyone can spend money and assemble a title-winning team. All Mourinho has done in all his jobs is spend an absolute shitload of money to get his success, I consider only his CL win with Porto to be due to truly great management ability. He's an idiot, plain and simple.

If he's playing complete shit football after spending that much money, Chelsea should at the very least be convincingly heading for the title. It is horrible football to watch only brightened by players like Hazard who add a bit of spark. Benitez was playing much better football, so was Di Matteo after the CL win.

You are just a blind fan sucked in by all the media bullshit hailing the return of Mourinho as some sort of second coming.

Been going to the bridge for over 20 years so no I'm not a blind fan who is getting sucked in, I've played good level football since I was 5, so I know and understand football.

The manager does not want this player, he is the boss and his decision is final, and I happen to back him, Mata or Jose, ?

It's an excellent deal for them in that case. They made profit on a player that's hardly been played this year, besides, they probably think it'll do the same job as Lukaku to Everton did, beating their competitors, so that they have a better chance at the title.

@barmyarmy: Salah is a winger, not an attacking mid. More of a replacement for Kevin de Bruyne than Mata.

I think we should totally go the Everton way and try getting Coentrao, N De Jong (Milan have just signed Essien) & Montoya all on loan and send those donkeys in Cissokho and Moses off packing to their respective clubs, because right now, our managing director and owners respectively seem to be incapable and too stingy over signing any players at all..
