Football Transfers Thread

It's inevitable if he wants to go back, but that phase has passed in his turbulent first season. He's established his place permanently in the team ever since.

However, it's not a one way traffic anymore. The tides have turned. ADM took the other way around between Madrid to Manchester. It won't make sense after all the summer splurge on bringing top players into the squad to let one of our best players leave. It breaks the whole point. we've witnessed the worst possible let off with pogba. We need the best years of our players at United and the odds are slightly in our favour for once.

that being said, contemplating on ifs and buts can only go as far. But(!) I hope he signs a new deal haha.
You're saying him establishing himself at United is a case for him to stay, but I'm saying him establishing himself in the discussion for best keeper in the world in the process is a case for him to make a move to Real, becoming a "Galactico".

On Di Maria, you guys didn't exactly poach him off Real, they got their new Galactico in Rodriguez and to fund the transfer/make space got rid off him, on top of it all PSG were out of the race thanks to blowing their whole transfer cap for the year on David Luiz, but nonetheless, only time will tell on what happens with DDG I suppose and though we're rivals, I'd very much like the top 2 of 3 keepers in the world (Courtois being the other) to stay in the PL.

Not a trusted source that, and no I don't, maybe a few years from now when Real think they have someone better than Bale on their radar and sell him to make space/fund the move like they did with Di Maria when bringing in James Rodriguez, but other than a scenario like that, Bale's staying in Real for the foreseeable future.

Things have changed a lot on the Bale front since January, like the Real crowd turning on him for example. :rolleyes

Yaya Toure close to sealing Inter move - Javier Zanetti - ESPN FC

We definitely have to be in the running for Pogba or KDB to let Yaya go... get it done Txiki!

Btw @KBC, you still confident in you guys keeping DDG beyond this summer? :p

Well Rodgers is staying, knew it.. I reckon he's gonna get up to six months to prove him self and then we will get Klopp.... No we'll get Big Sam instead, I don't hate Rodgers I just don't like how he has no plan Bs in his game, should've tried 4-4-2 diamond again with Balotelli partnering up with Sterling, but no.
Transfer window Milner I rate him as that powerful player need an experienced player knowing that Gerrard's not in the team next season. Other than Milner I'm expecting us to sign a lot of mediocre players would've loved to have Lacazette on the board, but....

Just a bit out the the loop lately.. Any confirmed Liverpool incomings or outgoings so far? (apart from Stevie G ofcourse :( )

Notable transfers for other teams?

Glenn Johnson and Brad Jones are 97% gone encase they change their minds overnight. :p

James Milner on a free transfer.

Danny Ings also agreed now subject to a medical with Mateo Kovacic and Adam Bogdan to follow in the following forthcoming weeks.

Adam Bogdan
Bolton fan here :wave

Bogdan has come a long way since his debut (think it was a 5-0 thrashing against Chelsea) But is he better than Mignolet? I'm not too sure, I think they're pretty even, both prone to making mistakes. Will be a good signing for you guys nevertheless.

I don't know, we want champions league football yet Coutinho, Can and Henderson are the only ones from last season who showed the character and actually stood to the challenge but the rest of squad just was a big let down Ings and Bogdan aren't the players we should be signing whilst our rivals are signing players like Falcao and Depay. But due to Bogdan being miles better than Jones he will atleast provide much needed competition for starting lineup to Mignolet.

Felt really sorry for him that time Howard scored past him.
