But he also told reporters that Felipe Massa, after being poor for most of last season

Today ITV kept rights for the 2007 season after only a few other channels, that were not able to pay the same amount as ITV, challenged for the rights. Steve Rider will be host again this year with Mark Blundell and Martin Brundell in the commentary box. Louise Goodman will be down in the Pit-Lane. Ted Kravitz will be doing the interviews and main story news and James Allen will be in and out the team garages over the weekend period. Michael Schumacher took some time out to talk with Martin about the forthcoming Formula One Season.

Martin: So Michael how has it felt not to be testing the car and being with the Ferrari team since last years 2006 season?

Michael: Well Martin it's been a very unusual time for me not being part of the team and just staying at home with my family. I can't say I have not missed Formula One and Ferrari but being with my wife and kids is brilliant and I also can relaz a bit more and not just think about F1. I have sometimes sat at home and just thought about last season and how it went and imagining what would of happend if I was still driving for Ferrari.

Martin: And Michael how has it felt to be seeing new drivers coming in and you not having to worry about the up and coming season?

Michael: As I have said I can't say I haven't missed Formula One as I was involved for 15 years so it has been my life for a very long time, but spending quality time with my family is very important now and I am enjoying every single bit of being at home.

Interview to continue tommorrow :)

Martin: So who do you think will do well this season and how do you see the season panning out?

Michael: I think that Fernando(Alonso) will be right up there again this time in the Mclaren. He is a fantastic young driver and who knows maybe he will pass my record of most championships won. Kimi(Raikonnen), In my opinion will be a fantastic replacement for me and I really think he will be in the top three come the end of the season. Also with the two new Ferrari teams with the drivers to be announced I think maybe a few young drivers could get up near the top of the driver standings with the new teams. Renault will continue to be strong as will Ferrari but I think this year Mclaren will be the Constructers champions.

Martin: And finally Michael your predictions on the Cricket World Cup :p

Micheal: :laugh Well Martin I don't watch a lot of cricket as it's not a sport over here in Germany but Australia are the world's number 1 so they will be champions again for me!

Martin: Thank You for your time Michael and enjoy your time with your family back at home!

Michael: Cheers Martin.

Why did you ask Schuy about Cricket?! :rtfl

Good presentation mate, good writing :D

really? :) I thought Schumi liked Sachin a lots! He also had given an excellent gift( Car ) to Tendulkar that came in ship all the way from germany ;)

But worried abt Massa though.. Its like dropping Matryn from Aussie team inspite of the talents!

Once again worried of Massa becos he joined McLaren team that had lots of problem last season! Good Luck for Kimi to join Ferrari though! Ferrari is definetly stronger than Renault now missing the promising driver,ALonso!

Lately noticed this story and Good Luck Trev!

shall get some more updates in soon when i can get some time to think and post :D

cheers Suren and Culli for your views :cheers
