After that burst of wicket Matthew Wade and Glen Maxwell two non ashes squad players hit a 100+ runs partnership got the Aussies into lead and now Wade is seriously being a pain the a with 100 not out Video highlights coming up.

1st Test - Day 2 Part 1

Notes/Summary - England and Anderson and Woakes in particular picked up quick wickets as Australia were struggling at 100 odd for 5 wickets before Maxi and Wade came in an played two beautiful inning. Maxi was unfortunately run out and the tail enders have not lasted much since then but Wade has kept on piling runs and has scored the first century of this Ashes season. Would be interesting to get the last wicket and battle out the last session.

1st Test - Day 2 Part 2

Match Notes/Summary - Matthew Wade was well set on his century, I decided to bowl Woakes and Anderson. Wade and Hazlewood were not able to add much and Wade was soon caught behind to the keeper. FINALLY! Wade was out. The lead was 160 runs and I will have to bat really well.

Cook and Stoneman started the batting procedures and Starc's beautiful inswinging yorker was too good for Stoneman as he was clean bowled. Root came at no 3 and Cook and Root negotiated the bowling really well until the last over Lyon bowled Root from back of his leg to hit the stumps. Will need to really bat well. The last over rain came in and the day's play came to an end.​

1st Test Day 3 - Part 1

Match Notes/Summary - So I started 50 odd for 2 with Cook and Broad the night watchman batting. Broad soon departed and Cook and Baristow scored good runs and developed good partnership until the umpire decided to give Baristow caught behind. I took the DRS and it showed it was not hitting the bat but still was given out. Damn it moment for me. Once that wicket fell I kept losing wicket and meanwhile England took the lead. Cook scored a brilliant 100 but was out to Starc's swinging delivery. In the end I am 7 down with a 60 runs lead and Ali and Dawson are at crease. Will try to score as much as possible but I think Aussies have this match in the bag until they collapse ​
