Meh, every great player I bid on gets staggering bids on him, and then I have to walk out of the bid. :(

I think you really overrate your players...

Me?
I think they are average at best and that's why was surprised with the bids they attracted (on a rest day). :p

Wasted it all on this dude though, which I kind of regret.Bought him for 157k.

It was going to be one of our more difficult matches this season and some scouting on the weekend made me find out that they were a spinner heavy side with I think it was 4 spinners, playing in their last game so I decided to go for a green pitch. Things weren't looking good though when they went into drinks (20 overs) at 98/0, but things changed, Bol striking in the second over after drinks, before Bollinger came on for his second spell and took 3 wickets to finish with figures of 3/22 from 8 overs, while Harms took a wicket and after 32 overs, they had fallen to 141/5. Yousif and Healy finished things off with a good spell of bowling at the death to restrict them to 170/9, Yousif finishing with 2/25, Healy 1/31. Harms took 1/34 and Bol took 1/58 (knowing that he would be smashed a little, being a spinner).

Bleeker fell early for 12 but Mol and the skipper, Michael Young put on a strong partnership to put the game beyond doubt, getting to 145/1 before Young was dismissed for 49 before Omara got out for a golden duck but Mol kept going to finish 79* while Crane made 10* as we won by 7 wickets with 7.3 overs remaining.

James Pettinger and Murray Oldroyd hit career high scores today as we managed to win by 6 wickets, chasing 310. O'Connor smashed 173* for them while Phillips took 3/41 and Baldry 2/70, the rest pretty disappointing. It didn't look good though when Crane, Omara and O'Leary fell early to be at 3/29 but Pettinger and Mol put on a good partnership of 94 runs before Mol was run out for 48 but Pettinger went on with Oldroyd as they smashed the runs with 6.4 overs to spare, Pettinger finishing 150* off 124, his highest score while Oldroyd finished with 78* off 80 balls, also his highest score in 98 matches :p
