WINNING BID

FYNGvTT.png

GREECE

Hellenic Cricket Federation won the vote by a narrow 11—10 majority and were awarded the hosting rights for the 2000 WCC Knockout Trophy.

Egypt almost kick them self from KO tournament by voting Greece...
Please enlighten, how? If it's because of rankings, they do have a chance if they win a few games and go up the ranking.

Egypt can't win because Egypt don't play any ODIs this season. They only have two matches scheduled and they're both Tests.
Oh well, then poor FTP planning then.

- Bidding nations are allowed to vote for themselves; it'd be surprising if they didn't
- Bidding nations may also sway other members to vote for them but any monetary transactions are prohibited (vCash)
- Each member nation is allowed one vote which can not be changed once cast - non-member votes are nullified
- In case of a tie - the WCC retains the right to select any bid without any explanation or reason
- The vote will run for a total of 72 hours - once closed, the bid with the most votes will win
- Nations that don't cast a vote before the deadline will simply forfeit their vote for the tournament
- Winning majority is 13 votes - any bid receiving the winning majority will end the voting immediately
