FTP Cycle 1999-2003 | Season 1

I think (or hope) people appreciate my enthusiasm for the world building around this and what I've done with Malta.
I most certainly do. <3 <3 <3

I was just hoping we could finally end Europe's stranglehold on hosting events, but I'd be completely alright with you getting to host the tournament seeing how much effort you've put in, and how enthusiastic you are about this. :cheers

Me who just voted because of girl avatar ...

Commiserations @NaviN GandhI - your bid received the fewest votes and has been eliminated after round one.

Round 2 has begun and only the voters from the eliminated bid are allowed to vote. They are: @Disharies @HawkAussie @NaviN GandhI @RUDI @Targaryen @Umair7
Winning majority has been updated to 12 votes as NINE nations abstained from voting in round one - forfeiting their votes for the remainder of the bidding process.

VOTING

The World Cricket Conference has convened this conference to vote on the host nation for the 2002 WCC KNOCKOUT TROPHY.

- Bidding nations are allowed to vote for themselves; it'd be surprising if they didn't
- Bidding nations may also sway other members to vote for them but any monetary transactions are prohibited (vCash)
- Each member nation is allowed one vote which can not be changed once cast - non-member votes are nullified
- In case of a tie - the WCC retains the right to select any bid without any explanation or reason
- Nations that don't cast a vote before the deadline will simply forfeit their vote for the tournament
- Winning majority is 18 votes; any bid receiving the winning majority will end the voting immediately

ROUND 1
- Round 1 will run for 48 hours
- Bid with the fewest votes at the end of the round will be eliminated
- Nations abstaining to vote in this round will be have their votes nullified in round two

ROUND 2
- Round 2 will run for 24 hours
- Only nations that voted for the eliminated bid from last round will vote
- Bid with the most votes at the end of the round will win the hosting rights for the 2002 WCC Knockout Trophy
