Game Over - Brett Lee concedes Test career is probably over

Brett Lee's been one of the greatest fast bowler's Australia has produced and they must be as proud as Lee is of his achievements. I'm sure Lee doesn't have much to regret about, given the fact that he has been bowling with his kind of pace & accuracy, with consistency that people take years to master.

Feel sad to see him being forced to choose between formats. He's a great man, one of my favourite cricketers :)

It was about to happen sometime with all the load in international cricket.

Brett is one of the guys that I love watching in the Australian team (apart from Gilchrist). Would be great to atleast watch him in ODI's, T20's and IPL.

I am sure, Binga will overcome all thiis and return very soon.

Bingaaa.... Say its untrue....:crying
Really shocking. But I think its too early departing from Test cricket as he may regain his body after two to three years.
But, as usual, bowlers will have very early retirement.

One of my favorite cricketers. Great guy but not afraid to give it his all on the field.

I hope he fights through these injuries and gets back in the team. Siddle is no Lee.

Binga D: Lets see him still do great things in the IPL and domestic cricket.

Will be remembered for his bowling during the '03 world cup, being the first to take - and one of the only two to do so far - a international T20 hattrick, and always running in hard for every delivery...

He will surely comeback in test cricket if only the media and critics stop buliding the pressure on him to retire :facepalm

I hope he does not retire :noway. He can still bowl at 94-95 MPH. If he can get fit again for longer time, it will be good for cricket in general. There is no sight better in cricket than a fast bowler charging in full steam. Lee is a sensational ambassador of the game. If he retires, it will be huge void to fill for Australia.

He definitely still has a role to play in the One Day and T20 arenas. With all of his recent injuries its probably not a bad idea for him to slow things down for a bit and focus on one form on the game and then if he can avoid injury for an extended period of time then be considered an option for the Ashes

I certainly hope he doesn't retire. One of the new pace bowlers in the Aussie set up might have a shocker of a series against WI and who knows, perhaps they send out a call for Lee. Either way, it's been a real treat to watch him play. At least we'll get the see him on the one-day circuit.

There should be a lot of other players ahead of Lee.

Clint McKay, Bollinger, Cockley and other U-30s.....
