I'm not sure I entirely see that though.

I mean we do have the quote from Ross saying this is meant to be a "highlights package," a philosophy which I respectfully disagreed with. On the other hand, bowling (not fielding) in this game is a lot less arcadey. You cannot swing the ball like it's a remote control and, regardless of skill and ball age. This is already a massive improvement for me.

The bowling controls are the only thing in the game that isn't arcadey, granted. But everything else, from the presentation, cameras, default logos etc. are very very arcadey.

The bowling controls are also the best thing in the game by a country mile.

Blocker's saying that because it is impossible put new animations into the patch, as BA did mention that they got the motion capturing device a bit too late into th game! That's something that should be on the wish list for the next iteration!
