General Cricket Discussion

Has he been that bad though? Always thought Wasim had a decent cricketing brain inside that head of his.
He’s not a bad captain. It’s just that it’s a bit weird for Pakistan's captain to play under him. Babar needs all the experience he can get.

NO WAY THIS IS HAPPENING!

England are also scheduled to come back in 2022 for a full series.

Still waiting for India to play Pakistan :(

The legend of the cricketers in the eras gone by were forged in those legendary India-Pakistan clashes that frequently occurred in the distant past, right from Sachin Tendulkar's very first test when he was thrown to the wolves as a sixteen year old in Karachi, facing the fearsome pacy trio of Imran, Waqar, Wasim (Pakistan also happens to be the country against who he has the worst average, a measly 42.28) and Shoaib Akhtar's very last test bowling to the likes of Ganguly, Dravid and Laxman (his second worst record is versus India and given the strength of that Aussie side, it is fair to say that the Indian batsmen had the better of him despite an outstanding record in India helped by that fiery spell in Calcutta 1999 where Srinath went absolutely bonkers). The cricketing world has indeed been robbed of what could have been a fascinating duel between the likes of (a hopefully clean in this hypothetical world) Amir vs Kohli and Bumrah vs Azam. Imagine the Indian side in transition going up against MisYou at their best or even the current Pakistani side in it's own transition facing up against an Indian side wanting to stake their claim in the history books.

If both teams reach a WTC final, that match is going to be a very special event, especially if it’s at Lord's.

Lol :lol
I do remember seeing this movie a long time ago. Also heard that it was selected for Oscar nominations when it was released.

This seems to be the correct time >> If you wanna make it as a batsman into the Indian ODI side , make sure you can bowl some overs too . Not a "single" bastman in the current setup bowls . Imagine out of the 5 bowlers , one gets injured in the way & with Hardik not bowling .... DEAD ....

Jaishwal is very much in line to be fast-tracked if he impresses consistently for this reason. Can bowl part-time and also is left-handed. However, I believe that once Hardik is back to bowling the team will be set in stone with six bowling options.

The new ICC chairman seems like an awful choice, who is going to work to roll back all of the great reforms of the Manohar era.

Hi guys,

I am currently leading an investigation about cricket fans digital usages. I was wondering if you can take 5mn of your time to fill this anonymous questionnaire: Cricket Fan Survey

This study will be used to to make recommendations to international and local cricket organisations and we wanted to make sure it is based on real cricket fans insights and not only "consultant imagination".

Thanks a lot for your help, greatly appreciated.

Has anyone watched the Bodyline Series which was released in the year 1984? It is an interesting series for all Cricket fans out there and I do think it is a must watch. I have been watching that on YouTube since 4 days.

Here is the link for the ones interested to watch it
