Because Sachin ain't real.

From what Ive gathered Sachin never went out of the way to help the young upcoming batsman. I mean I may not like him but he is undoubtedly one of the best Indian batsmen of all time, surely can make it in most top 20 lists of all time in the world as well. Seem he has not given back much to the game though. Cant blame him cuz most of his life was being hound by the Indian media and cult like worshippers, so he preferred to stay out of the limelight.
